<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The Traffic Management Specialist arranges the shipment of Global Prepositioned Material Services (GPMS) cargo to various worldwide destinations via air, land and sea. The Incumbent must comply with all applicable International and Federal Transportation Laws, Regulations, Tariffs and Department of Defense (DOD) guidance. Must be able to gain access to Logistics Tool Suite (LTS), Global Freight Management (GRM), Cargo Movement Operating System (CMOS), Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES), Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES), Integrated Booking System (IBS), Joint Container Management system (JCM), Wood Packaging Materials (WPM) Management Toolset, Global Asset Reporting Tool (GART) and web-based tracking systems such as Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID-ITV) Tracking Portal, Global Decision Support Systems (GDSS-2) and Single Mobility System (SMS) to ensure In-transit Visibility (ITV) within the Defense Transportation System (DTS). <p>Supervise the day-to-day Firefighting operations for the assigned site to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established standards and procedures. Overview and influencing the teams in order to ensure the optimization of OTTCO s (as a system) in term of safety, environment, production, and margin cost. The successful candidate will act as the core architect and technical anchor for our enterprise reporting platforms. This role requires extensive expertise in advanced MicroStrategy platform architecture, strong programming capabilities using SQL and the ability to integrate and query data across Hadoop/Big Data/ETL ecosystems. BI Architecture & Dashboard Design Architect, design, and manage enterprise-level MicroStrategy (MSTR) environments, including schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies) and public objects (metrics, prompts, filters, custom groups). Build advanced, high-performance executive Dossiers, modern RSD (Report Services Documents), and interactive HyperIntelligence cards. Lead governance across the MSTR metadata layer, ensuring data security, precise user privileges, and reusable object design patterns. 2. Big Data & Python Integration Integrate MicroStrategy directly with Hadoop Big Data platforms (HDFS, Hive, Impala), optimizing configuration environments like the MicroStrategy Hadoop Gateway for lightning-fast in-memory processing. 3. VLDB & Performance Optimization Perform deep VLDB (Very Large Database) properties tuning within MicroStrategy to optimize SQL generation targeting underlying platforms. Partner with DBAs to tune analytical queries targeting Teradata and Hadoop clusters by analyzing execution plans (Explain Plans) and implementing partition mapping, aggregate join indexing, or multi-pass SQL optimization.
