Main tasks and responsibilities:<br>Unit Purpose Key Features HPU (Hydro-processing Unit) General term for units that perform hydro-treating or hydrocracking. Utilizes hydrogen to treat petroleum fractions.<br>Removes contaminants like sulfur, nitrogen, and metals.<br>Enhances product quality and ensures compliance with environmental standards.<br>DHT (Diesel Hydrotreater) Specifically designed to treat diesel fractions to produce ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD). Removes sulfur and nitrogen compounds from diesel feedstock.<n>Operates at high temperatures and pressures with hydrogen.<br>Catalysts are used to facilitate the reaction, improving the cetane number and stability of diesel.<br>HCU (Hydrocracking Unit) Breaks down heavy hydrocarbons into lighter, more valuable products like gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel Uses hydrogen under high pressure and temperature.<br>Employs dual-function catalysts (acidic function for cracking and metallic function for hydrogenation).<br>Converts heavy feedstock into lighter, cleaner products.<br>Enhances the yield of high-value products.<br>Accountabilities:<br>Data Analysis and Optimization<br>Provides robust support while analyses plant s data using PI and LIMS and provides remedial solutions for deviations.<br>Identifies optimization opportunities.<br>Identifies debottlenecking opportunities and improves unit efficiency.<br>Provides technical recommendation in resolving complex process issues.<br>Design and Process Optimization<br>Coordinates and reviews complex design work.<br>Develops Heat and Material Balances, designs minor modifications.<br>Prepares preliminary documents for tender submissions.<br>Leads engineering reviews for plant modifications and improvement projects.<br>Develops and validates process simulation and optimization studies.<br>Provides technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.<br>Equipment Monitoring and Troubleshooting<br>Monitors equipment like reactors, drums, compressors.<br>Performs RCA and proposes corrective actions.<br>Safety and Compliance<br>Develops technical procedures.<br>Leads HAZOP, PSSR, and process safety reviews.<br>Provides technical leadership for MOC and risk assessment activities.<br>Promotes process safety best practices across the organization.<br>Process Engineering Support<br>Provides support for the development of Key Documents.<br>Provides technical assistance to other sections.<br>Develops advanced simulation models and digital performance tools.<br>Mentors and develops junior engineers.<br>Reviews and Approvals<br>Provides technical approval of key process engineering deliverables.<br>Performs independent technical reviews of engineering studies and proposals.<br>Represents Process Engineering in technical committees and strategic initiatives.<br>Key interactions<br>Internal: Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders for day-to-day work.<br>External: Consultants, contractors, vendors Notable Working Conditions. General Purpose <br><p>Direct and execute the commercial strategy under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer. As a member of the Executive Team, the Chief Commercial Officer directs, oversees and leads Atyab Group s national and international commercial strategy including new-product development and the marketing and sales strategy of the Group s affiliates through: (1) acting as a strategic sales business partner to consolidate and increase the presence of company products; (2) providing strategic leadership in product marketing to position the company s and affiliates brands, image and products at the highest level among competitors in order to maximise company revenue, sustainable market presence and positioning, and effectively assure business profitability and growth in the short, mid and long term.</p>
Main Accountabilities <br> Commercial Strategy & Planning <br><p> Establish the short-term plans and long-term commercial strategy, using macro- and micro-economic indicators to support the achievement of Atyab Group s and its affiliates strategic objectives.</p>
<p> Develop the commercial monitoring strategy of the Group and its affiliates to increase product presence across wide and diverse markets.</p>
<p> Develop commercial plans using global indicators, market performance, economic variables and market trends.</p>
<p> Develop a holistic, regular performance-assessment system for the commercial function of the Group and its affiliates.</p>
Marketing & Brand Leadership <br><p> Develop and implement the marketing strategy by evaluating macro and micro market trends and building sustainable long-term marketing plans that assure brand presence across different markets.</p>
<p> Direct the strategic brand value, equity, loyalty and pride locally and internationally.</p>
<p> Direct brand-awareness activity, develop strategic promotional plans and approve marketing campaigns to attract existing and potential customers, increasing sales revenue and profitability.</p>
<p> Ensure the Group s vision, objectives, product quality and image are properly positioned among stakeholders and consumers.</p>
<p> Lead the development and execution of the mid- and long-term marketing strategic plan for the Group s and affiliates product portfolio, in alignment with company strategy.</p>
Market Intelligence & Insight <br><p> Develop and implement a structured system for gathering intelligence and monitoring and analysing markets relevant to the Group and its affiliates, drawing input from other functions and sharing the resulting insights.</p>
Stakeholder & Relationship Management <br><p> Manage and build strong commercial relationships with key stakeholders, large and retail customers, partners, and private and governmental authorities, as well as internal stakeholders.</p>
<p> Provide ongoing awareness, advice and knowledge-sharing to the executive management team to reinforce corporate action on commercial approaches, including production, legal and financial aspects.</p>
Reporting & Performance <br><p> Provide comprehensive commercial reports covering financial and commercial indicators, budgeting, cost-effectiveness and return on investment across marketing and sales.</p>
<p> Undertake any other related duties, projects or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Chief Executive Officer or management, in line with the role and the evolving needs of the business.</p>
Educational Requirements <br><p>Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline. MBA with a focus on Sales and Marketing preferred.</p>
Experience <br><p> 12+ years of progressive, hands-on commercial (sales and marketing) experience across functional roles up to senior leadership, in complex businesses.</p>

WORKING CONDITIONS The Bioeconomy officer is an G8NAT grade level in GGGI's national salary scale, details of which can be found in the GGGI Staff Rules on GGGI s website. In addition, GGGI provides 27 days of annual leave, flexible work arrangements and contribution towards private health insurance that covers dental and vision.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced degree in Forestry, Environmental Management, Climate Change, Economics, Finance, Development Studies, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline (additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a postgraduate degree).</li><li>At least 6 years of relevant work experience, with experience in bioeconomy, restoration, value chain development, climate finance, or nature-based solutions.</li><li>Proven track record project management, including budget oversight and the delivery of high-quality narrative reporting.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working effectively with government counterparts, donors, financial institutions, and private sector actors.</li><li>Familiarity with Dhofar's economic, land use, restoration, and climate policy landscape is an advantage.</li><li>PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
