The role translates legal, regulatory and corporate requirements into effective environmental standards, processes and controls, and is a key enabler of the Company s sustainability, decarbonization and net zero targets, translating environmental performance into measurable progress against the decarbonization roadmap. The position will lead the Environmental management team and drives pollution prevention, resource efficiency, regulatory compliance and continual improvement throughout the asset and project lifecycle. Main tasks and responsibilities 1. Strategy, Governance & Growth Alignment: Own the environmental strategy, annual plan, priorities, budget, resources and performance targets across Operated Assets and projects, including offshore, onshore and international growth. Translate environmental legislation, permit requirements, corporate standards and recognised international practices into effective policies, procedures and operational controls. Govern the environmental elements of the HSE Integrated Management System and ensure alignment with ISO 14001. Oversee environmental due diligence and liability assessments for new ventures, acquisitions, divestments and asset-transfer activities. 2. Regulatory & Stakeholder Leadership: Advise the Head of Sustainability, asset leadership and project management on significant environmental risks, compliance matters and required management decisions. Review and endorse environmental submissions, permit applications, technical studies and regulatory reports within delegated authority: maintain oversight of permits, licence condition and compliance obligation. Lead strategic engagement with regulatory authorities, lenders, joint venture partners, industry bodies and other stakeholders on environmental management, compliance and sustainability matters. Ensure compliance with lender environmental requirements, IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and other applicable international commitments. 3. Decarbonization & Net Zero Integration Lead environmental sustainability, emissions reduction, decarbonization and climate-related environmental initiatives, including GHG monitoring, reporting and performance improvement programs, directly supporting the Company s decarbonization roadmap and net zero targets. Provide environmental input to sustainability disclosures, corporate reports, emissions inventories and other approved external reporting requirements. Establish environmental KPIs, reporting standards and performance expectations and present material risks, trends and improvement priorities to management. 4. Team Leadership & Capability Lead the Environmental Management team, allocate responsibilities and hold team members accountable for agreed objectives, technical quality and timely delivery. Develop team competence, professional capability, knowledge transfer, succession and Omanisation plans. Promote environmental awareness, accountability and consistent application of environmental requirements among employees and contractors. 5. Assurance & Risk Oversight Govern environmental impact assessments, baseline studies, environmental risk assessments and other technical studies for operations, projects and facility modifications; ensure environmental risks and controls are addressed throughout project development, including concept selection, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning, start-up and handover. Coordinate environmental audits, inspections, compliance evaluations and management-assurance reviews and monitor findings through effective closure. Ensure environmental emergency-response and spill-contingency arrangements are established, tested and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements. Provide environmental assurance for operational changes, shutdowns, decommissioning, site restoration, remediation and other significant activities. Perform other similar duties and responsibility consistent with the purpose, accountability and seniority of the role, as assigned by the Head of Sustainability. Site access and driving activities are subject to applicable medical, security, driver-authorisation and HSE requirements.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Education requirements Minimum qualification is a Bachelor s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or an equivalent relevant discipline. A relevant postgraduate degree or professional qualification such as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, Certified Environmental Professional, NEBOSH Environmental Diploma or an equivalent recognised environmental qualification is advantageous. <ul>
<li>Ensure Company vehicles and contractors community are equipped with approved IVMS systems, associated ancillary devices such as GPS satellite communication tools to ensure effective tracking, and distress call feature is enabled all the time.</li>
<li>Ensure the electronic systems and associated devices installed in vehicles to monitor driver activities are able to identify behaviours such as excessive speed, harsh braking, rapid acceleration and fatigue assistance systems are effectively managed.</li>
<li>Monitor and tracks journeys in real time using IVMS live tracking systems and communication tools, ensuring vehicles safely reach their final destinations. </li>
<li>Maintain active communication with drivers and intervene before, during and after the journey as per the Safe Journey Management.</li>
<li>Initiate and lead Man Lost emergency response procedure search and rescue teams to locate the vehicle and driver.</li>
<li>Identify, report and coordinate resolution of any malfunction or failure of IVMS and associated devices of the company vehicles and ensuring timely repair and restoration. Prepares and Prepare and submit the daily, weekly and monthlyreports on any non-compliance or at risk driving practices or behaviours.</li>
<li>Manage road safety enforcement systems, including radars, ensuring proper maintenance, calibration, and functionality. </li>
<li>Generate and distribute monthly IVMS performance reports for OQ RPI drivers to relevant stakeholders, including key findings and improvement actions.</li>

<p> <strong>Education requirements</strong> </p>
<p>Minimum qualifications for this position is a <strong>bachelor</strong> <strong>degree</strong> in engineering and safety science or equivalent.</p>
