<p>Lead and coordinate all DRI plant activities during the assigned shift. Participate in project execution, equipment installation verification, system walk-downs, punch-list clearance and mechanical completion. Review P&amp;IDs, process flow diagrams, operating philosophies, equipment specifications and control narratives. Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including flushing, blowing, hydrotesting, leak testing, loop checking and equipment trials. Lead plant start-up, stabilization, normal operation and planned/emergency shutdown activities. Monitor and optimize major process areas including the reduction reactor/shaft furnace, Process Gas Heater (PGH), process gas circuit, CO removal system, natural-gas system, water-treatment facilities and associated utilities.
