<p>The Traffic Management Supervisor supervises work activities of Traffic Management personnel engaged in the movement of GPMS-prepositioned cargo via land, air, and sea. Responsible for training, establishing, and maintaining effective outbound and receiving planning functions. Monitors cargo operations using Logistics Tool Suite (LTS), Global Freight Management (GFM), Cargo Movement Operating System (CMOS), Integrated Logistics Supply (ILS-S), Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES), Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES), Integrated Booking System (IBS), Joint Container Management system (JCM), Wood Packaging Materials (WPM) Management Toolset, Global Asset Reporting Tool (GART), and web-based tracking systems such as Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID-ITV) Tracking Portal, Global Decision Support Systems (GDSS-2), and Single Mobility System (SMS) to ensure In-transit Visibility (ITV) within the Defense Transportation System (DTS).</p>
<p>Must be able to complete AMMO-43, Intermodal Dry Cargo Container/CSC Reinspection, AMMO-62, Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials Distance Learning Courses, and WPM certification/recertification web-based training. <h4>Principal Accountabilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Schedules work priorities based on day-to-day Traffic Management Operations, Global Prepositioned Material Services (GPMS) Taskers, Executive Coordination Agency (ECA) Taskers, Primary Contracting Office (PCO), and Administrative Contracting Office (ACO) Taskers.</li>
<li>Develops work standards; identifies training deficiencies; develops training plans; provides training and supervision for personnel using automated computer programs to process freight and web-based systems to provide in-transit visibility.</li>

<li>Prepares all required shipping documents for data input to CMOS/GATES, assigns Transportation Control Numbers, produces labels, issues truck manifest for general/hazardous cargo, and maintains manifest and TCN logs.</li>
<li>Uses automated computer systems to process and document to accurately input the Transportation Control Numbers, Transportation Accounting Codes, consignor and consignee codes, and other essential transportation data into CMOS, GATES, or IBS.</li>
<li>May perform system administrator duties.</li>

<li>Prepares shipping documents and Movement Requests for international and domestic shipments between sites and container movements from the Sea Port of Embarkation (POE) to the Sea Port of Debarkation (POD) shipped by surface or sealift.</li>
<li>Performs Port Handling and Inland Transportation (PHIT) and ensures the subcontractor performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Statement of Work (SOW). Inspects and documents each shipment for contract compliance on a Customer Service Survey form.</li>
<li>Processes Export Traffic Release Requests (ETRR) for sealift shipments using Surface Deployment Distribution Command (SDDC) - Integrated Booking System (IBS).</li>
<li>Performs host country customs clearances and liaises with military and host country ministries on import and export for border customs clearances, airport customs clearances, and seaport clearances.</li>
<li>Selects and initiates contact with local carriers to arrange appropriate transport equipment for containers, classified, sensitive, hazardous, or outsized shipments based on size, weight, commodity description, freight classification, required delivery date, priority, or other special requirements.</li>
<li>Loads/unloads 463L pallets, equipment, vehicles, and ISO containers from flat-bed/low-bed trucks. May assist in loading/unloading military vessels at the seaport.</li>
<li>Performs Pallet and Net Manager duties by inspecting, issuing, accounting for, controlling, reporting, and maintaining operational stock levels of 463L pallets, nets, and other tie-down equipment located on-site.</li>

<li>Performs weighing of cargo, vehicles, and outsized cargo to determine the center of balance for rolling stock and ensures cargo dimensions are within pallet and aircraft limitations.</li>
<li>Determines cargo configuration, shoring, and aircraft loading requirements in accordance with Air Transportability Test Loading Activity Certifications (ATTLA).</li>
<li>Assists the Air Terminal Supervisor or load team chief with selecting, assembling, palletizing, and transporting cargo loads to and from aircraft and storage areas.</li>
<li>Assists in loading, unloading, and servicing aircraft. Ensures cargo loads are secure and tied down.</li>
<li>Safely transports and handles explosives.</li>
<li>Assists the Air Terminal Supervisor with passenger service procedures, check-in, manifest passengers and baggage, and perform security checks. May assist in loading/unloading passengers and baggage from aircraft.</li>
<li>Implements, documents, and controls quality, environmental, and safety programs.</li>
<li>Prepares and handles cargo in accordance with all prescribed regulations, instructions, technical orders, and procedures.</li>
<li>Accomplishes receiving process for all inbound cargo functions of MILSTRIP and NON-MILSTRIP shipments addressed to the host installation SRAN in accordance with regulation.</li>

<p>Lead and coordinate all DRI plant activities during the assigned shift. Participate in project execution, equipment installation verification, system walk-downs, punch-list clearance and mechanical completion. Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, operating philosophies, equipment specifications and control narratives. Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including flushing, blowing, hydrotesting, leak testing, loop checking and equipment trials. Lead plant start-up, stabilization, normal operation and planned/emergency shutdown activities. Monitor and optimize major process areas including the reduction reactor/shaft furnace, Process Gas Heater (PGH), process gas circuit, CO removal system, natural-gas system, water-treatment facilities and associated utilities. This will include but is not limited to LOTO, Fall Protection, Safety Equipment, Best Practices, JSA s, Permits and the completion of open items in the Action Log System. Responsible for observing and mentoring employees performing critical and instructional type job tasks, evaluating the performance and the effectiveness using Best Practices, STAR, SOC s, NM, JSA s and Safety Tools. This includes stopping the job and educating the workers clarification and correction of the procedure or recommended practice. Assist operations Management in conducting investigations, identifying corrective actions and creating reports for Near Misses, IFO s, FSA s and FAP s. Assist environmental audits and assessments as required to ensure regulatory compliance. Utilizing the DSAIL (Drill Site Action Item Log), record corrective actions resulting from investigations, checklists and audits. Communicate Rig DSAIL to Drilling Superintendent and HSE Supervisor. Ensure site safety and needed support for emergency response. Provide support as company liaison and representative in interactions with contract and customer employees. Provide on-site training to assist operations Management with clarification of policies and procedures, LOTO, Best practices, and perform competency evaluations.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar position or industry. High school diploma or equivalent. Commitment to working safely and participating in all HSE programs. Must have the desire to assist the company in promoting a healthy, incident free workplace. Must be able to communicate with upper management as well as semi-skill laborers to help ensure clear understanding of company HSE guidelines, rules, policy, and procedures. English language skills, excellent communication both written and verbal. Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. Must possess knowledge and skills in window based computer systems. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common reports. Systematic and disciplined approach to problem-solving. <p>Pipeline Ownership and Conversion</p><ul><li><p>Take full ownership of the live vinyl, carpet, rubber and decking pipeline, and drive it to order.</p></li><li><p>Re-qualify every inherited opportunity: confirm decision-maker, budget, programme, competing offer and the real reason the quote has not closed. Kill dead files early rather than carrying them.</p></li><li><p>Maintain the pipeline tracker weekly with status, next action, expected close date and probability. Tracker discipline is a condition of the role, not an administrative extra.</p></li><li><p>Present a monthly pipeline review to the Managing Director and the Business Development Manager, with a clear forecast and an honest read on risk.</p></li></ul><p>Specification and Technical Selling</p><ul><li><p>Build and hold relationships with consultants, architects, interior designers and project managers to secure Badr Flooring products at specification stage, before tender.</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret drawings, finishes schedules and BOQs; identify the flooring scope, quantify it accurately and respond with a technically compliant offer.</p></li><li><p>Advise clients on correct product selection — wear layer and use classification, slip resistance, fire rating, acoustic performance, static control, moisture tolerance and warranty implications.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and defend technical submittals, mock-ups and sample boards; handle consultant queries and approval comments without escalation.</p></li><li><p>Where a competing product is specified, prepare and present a credible equal-or-approved alternative with supporting test data.</p></li></ul><p>Business Development</p><ul><li><p>Build a new named-account pipeline across the sectors that consume these products in volume: healthcare, education, hospitality, commercial fit-out, offices, retail, sports and residential developments.</p></li><li><p>Develop coverage of main contractors, fit-out contractors and joinery firms who sub-let flooring packages.</p></li><li><p>Achieve a minimum standard of client-facing activity: site and office visits, specification meetings and new quotations issued each month, to targets set out in Section 4.</p></li><li><p>Feed back structured market intelligence — competitor pricing, incumbent brands, imported alternatives, project intelligence.</p></li></ul><p>Commercial Management</p><ul><li><p>Price to protect gross margin, using approved cost build-ups and the division’s approval matrix for any deviation. Discount is requested with justification, not assumed.</p></li><li><p>Negotiate payment terms in line with company policy, secure advance payments on project orders and support collection of receivables on accounts you have opened.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and follow up quotations, tender submissions and prequalification documents accurately and on time.</p></li><li><p>Work with the supply chain team on indent and stock planning — lead times, container consolidation and minimum order quantities — so that commitments made to clients are deliverable.</p></li></ul><p>Supplier and Brand Relationships</p><ul><li><p>Work alongside the Business Development Manager as a commercial point of contact for our resilient and soft flooring principals; keep product knowledge, pricing and stock position current.</p></li><li><p>Secure project-specific support from suppliers — project pricing, samples, technical documentation, training and site attendance where required.</p></li><li><p>Identify gaps in the current brand portfolio and recommend additional agencies or suppliers where a commercial or technical gap is losing us work.</p></li></ul><p>Project Handover and Installation Support</p><ul><li><p>Hand over won projects cleanly to the installation team with a complete scope, approved submittals, site conditions, programme and any client-specific commitments.</p></li><li><p>Attend site at key stages — subfloor readiness, mock-up, first-fix and handover — to protect the client relationship and avoid rework.</p></li><li><p>Resolve commercial issues arising during execution: variations, delays, site conditions and snag closure.</p></li></ul><p>Team Contribution</p><ul><li><p>Act as the internal reference point on resilient and soft flooring. Run short, practical product sessions for colleagues whose background is in manufactured terrazzo and cement products.</p></li><li><p>Support colleagues on their soft flooring enquiries with joint calls and technical input, so that capability spreads rather than concentrating in one person.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Essential</p><ul><li><p>Minimum five years’ sales experience in floor coverings, of which at least three years must be in vinyl, carpet, rubber or comparable resilient and soft flooring products. Experience confined to ceramic tiles, natural stone, marble or cement-based products does not meet this requirement.</p></li><li><p>A minimum of three years in the GCC, with a demonstrable understanding of how projects are specified, tendered and awarded in this market. Oman experience is strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on familiarity with the recognised international brands in these categories — for example Polyflor, IVC, Mannington and equivalent — and the ability to position them against one another.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of the technical language of the trade: wear layer and use classification, fire and slip ratings, acoustic and static performance, subfloor preparation, moisture testing, adhesives, hot and cold welding, and installation methodology.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to read drawings, finishes schedules and BOQs, take off quantities and produce a compliant, priced offer.</p></li><li><p>An established and verifiable network among consultants, architects, contractors or fit-out firms.</p></li><li><p>A record of achieving individual sales targets, supported by figures the candidate can discuss in detail.</p></li><li><p>Strong written and spoken English; competent in Excel, PowerPoint and CRM or pipeline tracking tools.</p></li><li><p>Valid Omani/GCC driving licence, or the ability to obtain one; own vehicle preferred.</p></li></ul><p>Desirable</p><ul><li><p>Arabic language capability.</p></li><li><p>Experience selling on a supply-and-install basis, with an understanding of installation cost, productivity rates and site risk.</p></li><li><p>Manufacturer product training or certification from a recognised flooring principal.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to healthcare, education or hospitality projects, where technical flooring specification is most demanding.</p></li><li><p>Experience opening a new product line or brand in an established market.</p></li></ul>

Review records to compile a list of overdue materials and send out notices. Keep the library clean, sorted, calm and reliable. Keep an eye on students not cause any damage to the library assets. Keep records of the students who must study in the library and coordinate with the supervisor for tardiness and absences. Submit a daily report on the library activities.
