<p>Provide high-quality, practical and commercially focused legal advice and support across OQ8's business activities to protect the Company's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations and governance requirements.</p><p>The Senior Legal Counsel supports OQ8's strategic and operational objectives by identifying and mitigating legal risks, drafting and negotiating complex agreements, advising on corporate, commercial, financing and project matters, managing disputes and claims, supporting corporate governance activities, and coordinating with Responsibilities:</h2><h3>General:</h3><ul><li>Coordinate and execute legal support regarding processes and procedures to assure legal compliance of OQ8 associated with all business matters and activities and provide legal advice, guidance, thoughts, and insights associated with day to day activities, relating to the legal framework & integrated into the complex end-to-end Business, for both annual cycles and ongoing re-forecasts.</li><li>Furnish accurate and timely Legal advice for OQ8 s the specific area (Contracts, Finance, Commercial Corporate or Projects).</li><li>Specifying internal <p>Ensure shutdown work complies with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.</p>
<p>Conduct post-shutdown reviews and capture lessons learned.</p>
<p>ASSET INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT</p>
<p>Ensure the integrity and reliability of hydraulic and lubrication systems associated with critical plant assets.</p>
<p>Monitor performance of lubrication systems, oil circulation systems, filtration units, accumulators, and hydraulic power units.</p>
<p>Review inspection findings and establish corrective maintenance actions.</p>
<p>Support condition monitoring and predictive maintenance programs.</p>
<p>Participate in risk assessments and asset criticality evaluations.</p>
<p>Ensure compliance with asset management standards and engineering requirements.</p>
<p>Maintain hydraulic cleanliness targets and lubrication management standards.</p>

<p><b>Job Requirements </b></p>
<p>Education:</p>
<p> Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field or higher Diploma</p>
<p>Experience: </p>
<p> Bachelor s Degree with 10+ years or Higher Diploma with 15+ years of experience in a Copper Concentrator Plant or related process plant with similar type of equipment is must.</p>
<p> Minimum 8 years of experience in hydraulic and lubrication maintenance and reliability engineering is must.</p>
<p> Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance and reliability of critical hydraulic and lubrication assets in large-scale mineral processing plants.</p>
<p>Certifications: Candidates holding or pursuing any of the following certifications will have an added advantage</p>
<p> ICML Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT)</p>
<p> ICML Machinery Lubrication Analyst (MLA)</p>
<p> Six-sigma (BB)</p>
