<strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>
<p> <strong>General</strong> </p>
<p>The incumbent will be representative of the Company for maintenance activities at marine / offshore side with the offshore maintenance contractor, responsible for the safe and timely maintenance of the offshore facilities and to have shared responsibility to provide functional leadership for the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound operation of offshore facilities with marine operations team, regardless the number of assists. The responsibilities shall be as outlined, but not limited to, below:</p>

<li>Be ready to act as incident commander in the event of any marine related emergencies at the Marine facility and responsible for the development and continuous improvement of all marine aspects of offshore maintenance.</li>
<li>Maintenance PM and CM for all offshore assistance: attend all PM on time as per scheduled plan with no delays and achievement without any backlog though the year as per OEM. CM to be cleared on time without any impact on operations.</li>
<li>Responsible for maintaining the availability of SPMs and their system by 100% all through the year and during operations for crude unloading by ensuring the following as minimum including all offshore assists:</li>
</ol>

<li>Ensure SPM availability as per O&M contract.</li>
<li>Lead maintenance team to ensure all SPMs maintenance carried out as per OEM recommendation and RCM studies.</li>
<li>Ensures all necessary equipment s /SPMs are ready for the operations.</li>
<li>Ensure planning and completing of SPMs annual maintenance.</li>
<li>Ensure planning and completing SPMs 6m maintenance.</li>
<li>Ensure calibration Of SPMs instrumentation.</li>
<li>Regular Maintenance and Check for spare SPM, make sure Its availability in case of any emergency.</li>
<li>Prepare SPM swapping/ replacement procedure, ensure that spare SPMs is ready for installation at any time.</li>

<p>Job Purpose: Control and advise all the technical and operational aspects of the vessel under OSMC s management. Provide necessary marine technical expertise in shipping matters to OSMC. Establish and maintain operational standards to enhance Safety, efficiency, tradability, and reliability of the vessel. Responsible for controlling and managing actual cost and budget for the vessels. Present requirement is for Very Large Crude Carriers, LR/MR Product and Chemical tankers, Very Large Bulk Carriers and Supramax Bulk Carriers.</p><p>Key Accountabilities</p><p>Supervision of Subordinates Support and supervise the vessels command in all aspects.</p><p>Instruction Manual Establish and maintain operations policies, procedures, and instruction manuals to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation including loading, discharging, gas free and docking etc. and supervise the provision of other services to the vessel.</p><p>Certificate & Legal Document Validation Supervise expire date of all statutory and class certificates and documents to ensure they are as per legislative requirements and in accordance with OSMC s policies. Insurance, finance, crewing quality certificates by relevant departments Familiar with relating contract, agreement including technical management of operations activities, IMO & Class rules and regulations.</p><p>Port Authority Coordination Liaises, as appropriate, with terminal operators at loading/unloading ports, customers, joint ship owners, service engineer and shipping agents store suppliers etc. Prepares repair and docking specification beforehand. Draw up estimate to obtain approval by the Fleet Manager as per requirement. Attend DD and co-ordinate with shipyard for safe and successful DD completion. Supervise, upkeep and maintenance as per scheduled in accordance with approved plan, making the necessary occasional visits.</p><p>System Audit Supervise ship maneuvering and mooring, etc. and ensure all established policies and processes are correctly implemented. Discusses and resolves in conjunction with Marine Manager and Fleet Manager, failure of machineries, unsatisfactory performance, etc. Administer in house ISM system, conduct audit of the vessel and in-house systems and conduct evaluation of the crew etc. in conjunction with ISM system.</p><p>Budgets and Plans Contribute to the preparation of the technical department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. Control and manage actual and budget for maintenance, Ship Store, LO, Medicines etc..</p><p>Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of technical activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service. Maintain a particular and clear PMS system ensuring the vessel is always meeting OSMC s standards. Ensure accurate and swift sign off and approval of all stores and requisitions, ensuring that no outstanding payments are impacting OSMC s relationship to its suppliers.</p><p>Continuous Improvement Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of technical systems, processes and practices considering international best practice , improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.</p><p>MIS and Reports Prepare departmental MIS statements and reports timely and accurately to meet OSC and department requirements, policies and standards.</p><p>Safety, Quality & Environment Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality product/service and a responsible environmental attitude.</p><p>Operating Activities Ensure timely condition monitoring of machinery by maintenance system to facilitate smooth operation. <p>Execute Electrical Maintenance Works B-60, under delegated authority and direction from TL Maintenance B60 as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards to maintain the assets through: (1) Leading the design Maintenance Electrical services on planned / un-planned maintenance works utilizing best practice. <p><strong>Purpose</strong> Lead the delivery of OMRAN's South Cluster - including Janaen Salalah, Khor Rori and other current or potential projects in the South - as the single accountable owner for scope, cost, schedule, quality, HSE and stakeholder outcomes across all active phases. The role is accountable for translating business requirements into scalable digital products/automation (e.g., low-code, workflow, integrations, RPA and analytics), ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, vendor management, solution quality, cyber/IT compliance, and benefits realization across Muscat and Duqm operations.</p>
