<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>Goodman Masson is partnering with a new financial markets infrastructure venture under formation in Oman.<br> Backed by prominent institutional investors, the business is building a greenfield platform from the ground up, and is now hiring at the build stage.<br> This is a rare chance to help stand up critical market infrastructure from a blank sheet and then run what you have built.<br> The role The Network and Security Engineer builds and looks after the network the platform runs on, and keeps it secure at the same time.<br> In the build phase you help design and then stand up the network from the ground up.<br> In the run phase you keep it working, watch it, and fix it when something breaks.<br> What you will do Help design and then build the network: segmentation and zoning, routing and switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and time synchronisation, engineered for steady low-latency performance Set up and secure connectivity to external counterparties such as custodians, settlement banks, and market systems Own perimeter and internal network security in the first line: firewalls, segmentation, secure and privileged remote access, and certificate and encryption management Keep network devices patched and hardened, support penetration testing, and close network findings Lead the first response to network and security incidents, and escalate cleanly when needed Keep the network documented to a standard that holds up under review Location and terms Based in Muscat, Oman.<br> Permanent for Omani nationals; two-year fixed-term contract for expatriate hires.<br> Omani nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.<br> If this is your kind of build, please apply now!<br> What you will bring Degree in computer science, networking, information security, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience At least six years in network engineering, with direct hands-on responsibility for network security as well as the network itself Strong network design and operation: segmentation and zoning, routing and switching, firewalls, load balancing, secure remote access, and low-latency design Direct experience owning first-line network security including firewalls, hardening, certificates, and secure connectivity Experience securing external-facing connectivity in a regulated or high-assurance setting Experience leading the first response to a live network or security incident Hands-on credibility: able to configure a firewall and a switch, segment a network, read a packet capture, and challenge a vendor design Fluent English, written and spoken Also of interest Experience in financial services or financial market infrastructure such as a central securities depository, central counterparty, exchange, or payment system Experience with secure connectivity to SWIFT, Bloomberg, or the international central securities depositories Infrastructure-as-code and automation experience such as Terraform or Ansible Relevant certifications in networking such as CCNP or CCIE, and in security such as CISSP</span> </div>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Job Purpose: Network specialist &amp; Security is responsible for managing, setting up, designing, developing, maintaining and monitoring networks within MSX or between all other organizations connected to. Provisioning support to users, staff members, clients or suppliers. Ensuring that the networks function efficiently by collecting performance data, monitoring its security controls, troubleshooting issues, anticipating problems and performing routine maintenance. In addition, identifying potential vulnerabilities in existing systems or processes and recommending ways to mitigate these risks. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Manage MSX s networking software and hardware environments on a detailed, systematic, and analytical approach. Interact with departments to address issues identified within network. Ensure the availability and service delivery of WAN and LAN network environment systems. This includes, but not limited to internal users, branches, commercial entities, and the public. Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, IPT, VPN, QoS). Ensure that all work and changes are performed in such a way as to minimize all disruption to existing business use. Day-to-day perform network administration, support, configure, maintain and upgrade the organization network devices including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource. Assist in keeping track of the MSX s networking infrastructure assets and ensure that the infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times. Work with internal teams and external suppliers for maintaining current infrastructure. Provides technical support in the development, testing and operation of next generation firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and web application firewalls. Monitoring network performance to ensure that applications are working properly and efficiently, viewing (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses. Works closely with other Teams on projects, system support, network monitoring, and other duties as assigned. Submitting the required reports with all details to the manager when needed. Create and maintains deployment and support documentation. Performs other related duties as assigned by the department manager.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Qualifications: BSc degree in networking engineering, computer science, cyber security, or an equivalent experience. Advanced network training certifications may be advantageous. A strong understanding and knowledge of network, and security controls. Cisco certifications in (CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Monitoring systems) or any other relevant certificates likes NSE3, NSE4. Strong troubleshooting skills Skills: Solid understanding of Network principles, practices, and technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail : (MSX) . . . : . . <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p>Technicien-ne de maintien en condition opérationnelle et réglementaire des équipements de travail F/H</p><br><br><p>CDI</p><br><br><p>Technicien</p><br><br><p>Temps complet</p><br><br><p>En tant qu'électrotechnicien de l'équipe de maintenance de la Direction Technique, vous assurez l'entretien, le dépannage, la surveillance et l'installation d'équipements pour l'ensemble des laboratoires.<br>Les principaux moyens maintenus sont des simulateurs de mouvements, des enceintes climatiques, des moyens de levage et divers moyens d'essais de laboratoire.<br>Dans le cadre des objectifs fixés par le responsable du service Maintenance Industrielle du site d'Eragny, vous assurerez :<br>* la prise en charge des opérations de maintenance de premier niveau et l'organisation de la planification d'opérations de maintenance.<br>* l'accompagnement et l'appui technique aux équipes de maintenance externes.<br>* le suivi des indicateurs de performance des équipements, des couts de maintenance.<br>* l'implémentation du suivi des équipements dans le logiciel de GMAO du service<br>* une contribution à la rédaction des cahiers des charges et à la négociation des contrats en relation avec les responsables métier et les achats.<br>* la conformité réglementaire des équipements de travail en laboratoire (la DESP des enceintes climatiques, les VGP des moyens de levage, la norme plateforme d'essai des équipement électriques ... ).<br>* Cela implique la maitrise des réglementations afférentes a ces activités (électrique, machine, levage ...)<br>Vous reporterez directement au responsable maintenance du site d'Eragny.</p><br><br><p>Peut être amené à se déplacer sur Massy<br>Possibilité ponctuelle d'astreinte ou de travail le samedi</p><br><br><p>BAC + 2 ou plus <br>Formation Maintenance Industrielle, bonne connaissance des bases de données, GMAO (Carl Source), suite Office.<br>La connaissance des systèmes frigorifiques serait un plus.<br>Bon relationnel, communiquant, force de proposition.</p><br><br><br> </div>
