<p>This is a freelance role for a Tendem project. As a senior python data scraping engineer, you'll handle data scraping tasks requiring technical precision for web extraction and processing, utilizing various tools such as our provided Apify and OpenRouter alongside your own resourceful approaches.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities:</h4>

<li>Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage, accuracy, and reliable delivery of structured datasets.</li>
<li>Leverage internal tools (Apify, OpenRouter) alongside custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution while meeting defined requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic and interactive web sources, adapting approaches as needed to handle JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior.</li>
<li>Enforce data quality standards through validation checks, cross-source consistency controls, adherence to formatting specifications, and systematic verification prior to delivery.</li>
<li>Scale scraping operations for large datasets using efficient batching or parallelization, monitor failures, and maintain stability against minor site structure changes.</li>

<h4>Requirements:</h4>

<li>At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development (required).</li>
<li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, or related technical fields is a plus.</li>
<li>Candidates should have a strong technical foundation and practical experience with scripting, automation, and AI-assisted workflows. We are looking for specialists who can solve non-trivial problems, work confidently with LLMs, and systematically collect, structure, and validate data from diverse sources. A methodical, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently are essential.</li>
<li>Strong experience in python web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Selenium or similar), including dynamic content (JS, AJAX, infinite scroll) and APIs via proxies.</li>
<li>Proven ability to extract data from complex structures (hierarchies, archived pages, inconsistent HTML).</li>
<li>Solid background in data cleaning, normalization, and validation, delivering structured datasets (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets).</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience handling anti-bot mechanisms and dynamic site structures at scale.</li>
<li>Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker) as part of real workflows.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, OpenRouter, or similar) applied to automation tasks.</li>

<h4>Project time expectations</h4>
<p>For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.</p>

<li>Perform all CRO operation activities role in petrochemical terminal and hydrocarbons.</li>

<li>Capture all major highlights and constraints experienced during the shift in the log sheet in detail for the following shift.</li>
<li>Monitor unit's process performance on a continuous basis using the Distributed Control System (DCS).</li>

<p> <strong>Bottle Production Management</strong> </p>

<li>Ensure overall material planning, molding, filling, sealing, labeling, and bagging process is followed and implemented.</li>
<li>Plan and ensure the entire process including segregating the products into PET, HDPE, IML, POUCH and the quantities of each type of packaging is worked on.</li>
<li>Ensure that the material requirement for blow molding or injection molding the containers for packaging the targeted produce is estimated correctly.</li>
<li>Manage all areas of packaging including blow molding / injection molding, filling, capping and sealing, labeling and bagging to ensure a seamless process.</li>

<p>The Livestock Husbandry Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and improving livestock production systems with a focus on animal nutrition, fodder production, herd health management, milk production, meat production, animal welfare, and farm productivity. The position supports the development of sustainable and climate-resilient livestock systems in Oman while ensuring compliance with national veterinary, food safety, and biosecurity regulations. The position ensures data collection and reporting by maintaining livestock production databases and farm records, analyzing production, health, and economic performance indicators, preparing technical reports, progress reports, and recommendations, supporting livestock sector assessments and feasibility studies and contributing to national livestock development initiatives and projects.</p><p><strong>ENGAGEMENT</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate stakeholder engagement with government agencies, private-sector actors, financial institutions, and development partners to ensure coordinated delivery and alignment with national priorities.</li><li>Foster coherent collaboration across program staff and stakeholders to ensure complementarity, transparency, and efficient joint implementation.</li><li>Promote a team culture aligned with GGGI s values of Trust, Transparency, Respect, and Partnership.</li><li>Report directly to the Chief of Party on livestock husbandry-related activities and coordination with other workstreams.</li><li>Represent the program in meetings, workshops, and calls as delegated, ensuring effective follow-up and timely documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>DELIVERY</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Livestock Production Management:</strong> Provide technical support for cattle, camel, and small ruminant production systems; monitor herd performance indicators (growth, mortality, reproduction, milk yield, and meat efficiency); and assist stakeholders in adopting improved breeds and production technologies.</li><li><strong>Feed, Nutrition, and Fodder Management:</strong> Formulate balanced, cost-effective rations and introduce alternative, climate-smart feed resources and conservation techniques (silage and hay) suited for arid environments. Assess fodder availability to develop sustainable production plans including Rhodes grass, Alfalfa, Sorghum, Maize silage, and hydroponics that reduce reliance on imported feed while optimizing water management.</li><li><strong>Animal Health, Biosecurity and Dairy/Meat Development:</strong> Partner with veterinary teams to implement disease prevention, vaccination, and biosecurity protocols while ensuring compliance with Omani notifiable disease reporting and antimicrobial stewardship.
