<span>Our client, an award-winning group of hotels in Europe, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join their Engineering team.<br> The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of the hotel's mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.<br> Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel mechanical systems and equipment.<br> Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, pumps, motors, boilers, plumbing-related mechanical equipment, and other building systems .<br> Identify mechanical faults and carry out appropriate repairs to minimize equipment downtime.<br> Monitor the operation and performance of mechanical equipment and report defects or potential issues.<br> Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and plant rooms.<br> Safely use and maintain mechanical tools, equipment, and testing instruments.<br> Assist with installation, replacement, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems when required.<br> Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment issues.<br> Follow hotel health, safety, hygiene, and environmental procedures.<br> Coordinate with the Engineering/Maintenance team and external contractors when required.<br> Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored.<br> Perform other related duties as assigned by the Engineering or Maintenance Manager.<br> Competitive salary as per market standards Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, or similar role within 4- or 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, facilities management companies, large commercial properties, or similar technical environments.<br> Technical or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC, or a related field is preferred.<br> Good knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.<br> Practical experience with HVAC systems, pumps, motors, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.<br> Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs and preventive maintenance.<br> Familiarity with maintenance tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.<br> Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.<br> Proficient in English.<br> Willingness to relocate and work in Cyprus if selected.<br></span> </div>
<p>• Obtain all reports, checks, vouchers, folios, receipts, paid-outs, etc. from Front Office, outlets and Night Auditor.</p><p>• Print the Daily Revenue Report and verify all incomes received with the supporting documents.</p><p>• Verify all paid-outs and allowances with the supporting documentation and ensure that proper approvals have been obtained.</p><p>• Do a number tally to ensure that there are no missing outlet checks, receipts, paid-outs and other vouchers.</p><p>• To audit charges to City Ledger and credit card companies before forwarding them to the Accounts Receivable section.</p><p>• To audit daily Rooms, Food and Beverage revenue summaries and their supporting transaction reports of the Night Audit Process.</p><p>• To audit and do spot check of revenues from telephone, telex and facsimile, and verify against actual billing.</p><p>• To audit revenues from Other Operated Departments such as Gift Shop, Laundry and Business Centre for completeness.</p><p>• To ensure that all of the day’s Banquet revenue has been recorded.</p><p>• To audit the daily General Cashier’s Report against recorded cash movements.</p><p>• To verify that the computerized Daily Report reflects completely all of the day’s transactions.</p><p>• To review paid-outs and allowance vouchers for reasonableness, proper approval and supporting documentation.</p><p>• To verify supports for complimentary and house use rooms and for rooms charged at rates varying from the rack potential.</p><p>• To spot check the accuracy of “regular” and “contractual” room rates in the system.</p><p>• To review all house use and entertainment checks for propriety and ensure that they are signed and authorized.</p><p>• To audit all Food and Beverage outlet checks on the “Rebates and Corrections” for explanation and approval by Outlet Managers (or delegated personnel), and by the Chef in instances of cancelled captain’s/automatic kitchen orders.</p><p>• To audit the “List of Voided Restaurant checks” for proper approvals and explanations.</p><p>• To check the sequential use of Food and Beverage checks, foreign exchange vouchers, official receipts and to investigate any missing or irregular forms.</p><p>• To review guest ledger balances daily and research questionable movements.</p><p>• To investigate late charges and skippers. <p>The Operations Excellence Manager/Sr. Manager will have the responsibility of: Defining, designing, implementing, and refining the lean based Operational Excellence strategy & system for the Asyad Ports & Freezones portfolio, covering all operating entities and corporate functions. <p>Job Purpose: Control and advise all the technical and operational aspects of the vessel under OSMC s management. Provide necessary marine technical expertise in shipping matters to OSMC. Establish and maintain operational standards to enhance Safety, efficiency, tradability, and reliability of the vessel. Responsible for controlling and managing actual cost and budget for the vessels. Present requirement is for Very Large Crude Carriers, LR/MR Product and Chemical tankers, Very Large Bulk Carriers and Supramax Bulk Carriers.</p><p>Key Accountabilities</p><p>Supervision of Subordinates Support and supervise the vessels command in all aspects.</p><p>Instruction Manual Establish and maintain operations policies, procedures, and instruction manuals to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation including loading, discharging, gas free and docking etc. and supervise the provision of other services to the vessel.</p><p>Certificate & Legal Document Validation Supervise expire date of all statutory and class certificates and documents to ensure they are as per legislative requirements and in accordance with OSMC s policies. Insurance, finance, crewing quality certificates by relevant departments Familiar with relating contract, agreement including technical management of operations activities, IMO & Class rules and regulations.</p><p>Port Authority Coordination Liaises, as appropriate, with terminal operators at loading/unloading ports, customers, joint ship owners, service engineer and shipping agents store suppliers etc. Prepares repair and docking specification beforehand. Draw up estimate to obtain approval by the Fleet Manager as per requirement. Attend DD and co-ordinate with shipyard for safe and successful DD completion. Supervise, upkeep and maintenance as per scheduled in accordance with approved plan, making the necessary occasional visits.</p><p>System Audit Supervise ship maneuvering and mooring, etc. and ensure all established policies and processes are correctly implemented. Discusses and resolves in conjunction with Marine Manager and Fleet Manager, failure of machineries, unsatisfactory performance, etc. Administer in house ISM system, conduct audit of the vessel and in-house systems and conduct evaluation of the crew etc. in conjunction with ISM system.</p><p>Budgets and Plans Contribute to the preparation of the technical department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. Control and manage actual and budget for maintenance, Ship Store, LO, Medicines etc..</p><p>Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of technical activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service. Maintain a particular and clear PMS system ensuring the vessel is always meeting OSMC s standards. Ensure accurate and swift sign off and approval of all stores and requisitions, ensuring that no outstanding payments are impacting OSMC s relationship to its suppliers.</p><p>Continuous Improvement Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of technical systems, processes and practices considering international best practice , improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.</p><p>MIS and Reports Prepare departmental MIS statements and reports timely and accurately to meet OSC and department requirements, policies and standards.</p><p>Safety, Quality & Environment Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality product/service and a responsible environmental attitude.</p><p>Operating Activities Ensure timely condition monitoring of machinery by maintenance system to facilitate smooth operation. <p><h4>Job summary</h4>
<p>The marketing assistant manager is part of an important team that creates and executes property-level communications to our customers. Under the leadership of the manager of marketing and communication, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel. This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness.
