<li>Oversees the creation of all the Corporate Facility Management strategies, projects, programs events, and initiatives across local and global workplaces of OQ8 to improve the wellbeing culture of the workplace. </li>
<li>Oversees budgets, contracts, vendor management as well as ensure their delivery as per agreed budget and quality.</li>
<li>Oversees the preparation of related tenders on time and in partnerships with relevant internal department.</li>

<p>The FAO Representation in Oman works closely with the Government of Oman and other national and development partners to support the country s priorities in food and agriculture, sustainable natural resource management, climate resilience, and related areas, in line with FAO s mandate and the Country Programming Framework. FAO Oman implements and supports a range of programmes and initiatives in collaboration with national counterparts and other stakeholders, with the aim of contributing to sustainable agricultural development, food security, and resilient food systems. Within this context, the Communication Assistant will support FAO Oman in effectively communicating its programmes, activities, results, partnerships, and key messages to relevant stakeholders and the wider public. The position will contribute to strengthening the visibility and outreach of FAO s work in Oman and ensuring that communication materials and activities are aligned with FAO s corporate communication standards and the country office s priorities. The incumbent will work as part of the FAO Oman team and will coordinate, as required, with relevant colleagues at the Regional Office for the Near East and North Africa (FAO-RNE), FAO Headquarters, and other FAO offices and communication focal points.</p><p><strong>Reporting Lines</strong></p><p>The Communications Assistant will work under the overall supervision of the Head of FAO Oman Office and will receive day-to-day guidance from the designated supervisor/communication focal point. <h4>Service purpose</h4>
<p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced marine specialist to join our dynamic team for the LNG bunkering project.</p>
<p>In this key role, in close collaboration with the LNG team in Sohar, you will be a strategic member of the Muscat back office in charge of preparing and overseeing the safety, compliance, and efficiency of all marine operations.</p>
<p>Your area of responsibilities will apply to LNG carriers loading, LNG bunkering operations, and, to a larger extent, all marine-related matters of the LNG bunkering project.</p>
<p>Your skills and experience will also identify you as a potential temporary replacement of the marine superintendent in Sohar.</p>
<p>Additionally, you would potentially be able to provide support to the Sohar team regarding logistics entities and warehouse activities, as this will be part of the Sohar marine superintendent's scope.</p>

Responsible for PSO Headquarters and GPMS sites' facilities special initiatives and preventive Maintenance program, implementation of computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) and coordinating activities. Manages scheduling and tracking of "work orders" from initiation through completion. Updates, reviews, annotates and files all related historical records and assists Facilities Maintenance staff in submission of required reports. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).</p> <p> </p> <p> <b>Principal Accountabilities</b> </p> <ul>
<li>Creates manual historical records for facilities maintenance assets that are subject to periodic maintenance.</li>
<li>Keeps Facility Maintenance record binders and electronic records up to date from various sources of information.</li>
<li>Assists in annual updating the Real property listing for assigned site.</li>
<li>Keeps a technical Library on Facility Maintenance and Fixed Equipment up to date.</li>
<li>Inputs equipment data and updates maintenance details in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (when applicable).</li>
<li>Logs all scheduled and unscheduled work orders for the Facilities Maintenance Team.</li>
<li>Receives and passes all completed work orders to the Superintendent/Supervisor for document review.</li>
<li>Prepares and submits a listing of completed and outstanding work orders to the Superintendent/Supervisor monthly.</li>
<li>Prepares Facilities Maintenance related briefings and reports.</li>
<li>Establishes a filing system for all office documents, Files and project books concerning Facilities Maintenance.</li>
<li>Accompanies Facilities Maintenance staff on field and site visits, as necessary.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Works in maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.</li>
</ul> <p> </p> <p> <b>Minimum Requirements</b> </p> <ul>
<li>Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.</li>
<li>Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.</li>
<li>Must have technical background to receive AutoCAD and CMMC (similar to Maximo) training if not currently qualified.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.</li>
<li>May be required to operate material handling equipment.</li>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Three years' experience in performing administrative tasks required.</li>
<li>May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.</li>
<li>Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.</li>
<li>Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment.</li>
<li>Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.</li>
