<p>Job title Lead Engineer Energy Performance Grade Stream Operated Assets Function Technical Services Location Oman Muscat Budget control *OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or Revenue amount as relevant* Reporting to Manager, Reliability Management Direct reports - Job purpose To lead the energy performance including the development, implementation and maintenance of the Energy Management System (EnMS), including the continual enhancement of OQEP s energy management framework, ensuring that energy performance data and initiatives across OQEP-operated assets are systematically captured, evaluated, and reported to management. The role is responsible for energy performance and decarbonization delivery including energy reviews, optimization, business cases feasibility and measurable energy cost savings. <p><br></p><p><b>POSITION SUMMARY</b></p><p>Based in Salalah, in Dhofar Governorate, Oman, Chief of Party (ARISE Program Lead) is the most senior manager of the ARISE Program Team, with strong managerial experience and technical expertise in biodiversity, land restoration/conservation, and land management. S/he is responsible for the overall coordination and management of all programmatic and financial aspects of the ARISE Program in accordance with approved documents and GGGI guidelines. S/he designs detailed work plans, ensures rigorous technical and financial oversight of program activities, manages the operations unit, and drives multi-stakeholder communication to position GGGI as a trusted partner in biodiversity and land management. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a desk-based one. The successful candidate will spend a substantial proportion of their time in the field mapping, logging, supervising drilling and sampling campaigns, and setting the technical standard for the crews working alongside them. Reporting to the Director of Exploration Execution, the Principal Geologist will apply deep expertise in prospect generation, target maturation and the evaluation of greenfield and brownfield projects, taking targets from concept through to drill-tested and, where warranted, resource definition. The role also provides technical support to the Business Development (BD) and Project Development (PD) teams across scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility, project assessment, remediation and closure phases, and carries direct responsibility for mentoring and building the capability of MDO s Omani geologists. Duties and Responsibilities: Field Exploration & Technical Delivery 1. Personally lead and supervise field exploration activities, setting the standard for technical quality, safety and data discipline on site. 2.
