Whether promoting Spa services or retail, scheduling reservations and confirming appointments, providing answers about services, checking in guests, or processing payments, the Spa Specialist makes transactions feel like part of the experience.<br>No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success – creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional. Spa Specialists will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing reservation software (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance and 25 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). <p>Provide high-quality, practical and commercially focused legal advice and support across OQ8's business activities to protect the Company's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations and governance requirements.</p><p>The Senior Legal Counsel supports OQ8's strategic and operational objectives by identifying and mitigating legal risks, drafting and negotiating complex agreements, advising on corporate, commercial, financing and project matters, managing disputes and claims, supporting corporate governance activities, and coordinating with external legal counsel where required.</p><p>The role works closely with business stakeholders across the organization to facilitate informed decision-making while ensuring alignment with OQ8's values, Code of Conduct, policies and regulatory obligations.</p><p>The position shall perform its duties in accordance with OQ8's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategy, Code of Conduct, applicable Responsibilities:</h2><h3>General:</h3><ul><li>Coordinate and execute legal support regarding processes and procedures to assure legal compliance of OQ8 associated with all business matters and activities and provide legal advice, guidance, thoughts, and insights associated with day to day activities, relating to the legal framework & integrated into the complex end-to-end Business, for both annual cycles and ongoing re-forecasts.</li><li>Furnish accurate and timely Legal advice for OQ8 s the specific area (Contracts, Finance, Commercial Corporate or Projects).</li><li>Specifying internal (customs authorities, police, local government, municipality, community, public prosecutor's office, etc.).</li><li>Provide guidance about the impact of proposed or passed legislation that affects OQ8's business activities.</li><li>Manage pre-dispute matters, claims and contentious issues to protect OQ8's legal and commercial interests.</li><li>Support the management of disputes, claims, investigations and litigation matters.</li></ul><h3>OQ8 s Corporate Support:</h3><ul><li>Support Head of Legal on the development and execution of the Corporate Legal and Compliance long-term plan in alignment with the function and organization strategies.</li><li>Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc</li><li>Draft and negotiate project agreements, contracts and other legal documents with OQ8 s interest in mind on each specific the specific area (Finance & Banking, Corporate).</li><li>Represents the legal department at meetings</li><li>Report progress of Corporate Legal, Corporate and the department business plans, opportunities, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken and course correction actions, etc. as required, to make an informed decision.</li><li>Advising on all issues relating to employment law and developing appropriate individual solutions.</li><li>Document all the legal cases to support OQ8 in dealing with eventual legal disputes</li><li>Advice and settlement of extrajudicial proceedings.</li><li>Preparation, revision, and review of employment contracts, employment regulations, and other personnel-related documents, taking into account the current legal situation and case law.</li><li>Accompanying and conducting negotiations on company agreements, developing corresponding draft templates, and conducting the corresponding negotiations.</li><li>Drafting, revision, and negotiation of rental and lease agreements of any kind.</li><li>Maintenance and administration of the local <p>Reporting To: Procurement & ICV Director Role Objective: The Contracts Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end contracting and technical procurement process for projects and operational requirements, ensuring commercially sound contracts, effective risk management, regulatory and successful project delivery, procurement planning, spend monitoring, cost savings reporting, KPI reporting, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilties: Review, assess, and process technical procurement requests, ensuring completeness of specifications, scope of work, and commercial requirements. Prepare and manage tendering processes for technical projects, including RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, bid evaluations, and recommendation reports. Develop, draft, negotiate, and administer contracts, agreements, purchase orders, and amendments in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Coordinate with end users, engineering, operations, project teams, and other stakeholders to clarify technical and contractual requirements. Lead commercial and contractual evaluations of bids, ensuring best value, risk mitigation, and compliance with technical specifications. Support project procurement activities from initiation through contract award, execution, performance monitoring, and closeout. Manage contract execution, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, milestones, deliverables, and service levels. Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, and operational risks associated with technical procurement activities and projects. Prepare contract correspondence, notices, variation orders, claims assessments, extensions of time, and dispute resolution documentation when required. Maintain contract records, procurement files, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to resolve contractual and commercial issues and facilitate successful project delivery. Support supplier prequalification, vendor performance evaluation, and contractor relationship management initiatives. <p>Stream: Operated Asset Function: Project Delivery Location: Oman-Muscat Budget control: *OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or Revenue amount as relevant* Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Direct reports: Head of Major Projects Head of Off-Plot Projects Head of Engineering Head of Project Technical Services Head of Construction</p><p>Job purpose Provide executive leadership and single-point accountability for the delivery of OQEP's capital projects portfolio, directing the planning, engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and close-out of all upstream projects in accordance with agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and functionality. The role owns the project portfolio framework and master plan, optimises resources and deliverability in consultation with the business lines and Opportunity and Project Management System (OPMS) Guidelines and Procedures, and governs integrated project reviews to maximise value and cost-effectiveness. As the senior project authority, the position sets project delivery standards, governs design integrity and contracting strategy, ensures rigorous project controls and assurance, and champions the highest standards of health, safety, security, and environment across all project activities, while building organisational capability and safeguarding people, assets and the Company's reputation. The position will act in accordance with the OQEP's Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by the IDS platform, QHSSE & Energy Management System requirements and standards, Oman's government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.</p><p>Main Tasks and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Manage and deliver capital projects for the upstream portfolio from planning through commissioning and close-out, in accordance with agreed scope, schedule, budget, and functionality.</li><li>Lead upstream project portfolio planning and resource optimisation in consultation with the business lines and the Projects Centre of Excellence (CoE).</li><li>Direct integrated project reviews across planning, design, and construction to maximise deliverability and cost-effectiveness in line with business unit requirements.</li><li>Develop and maintain an overarching project portfolio framework, including project scheduling, planning and project-management systems, milestone identification, and performance reporting.</li><li>Oversee the development and continuous update of the integrated OQEP capital project master plan, and set project strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to realise its goals while ensuring effective interface management between projects.</li><li>Maintain portfolio design and construction standards, govern design reviews for new construction, and advocate appropriate system and technology choices.</li><li>Integrate project budgets and capital-plan budgets to maximise deliverability and cost-effectiveness, and govern cost control across the portfolio.</li><li>Oversee portfolio and integrated facilities contracts, including construction bidding and contracting documentation, ensuring all contractual and project documentation requirements are met.</li><li>Govern the selection and evaluation of qualified engineers, specialist consultants, and contractors in coordination with the Projects CoE, chairing or participating in selection committees as required.</li><li>Implement facilities design guidelines to raise the quality and consistency of project outcomes, and maintain the technical knowledge base for OQEP's physical facilities as part of asset registration.</li><li>Govern the inspection, commissioning, and close-out process, ensuring adherence to standards, contracts, codes, and regulations, and proper handover to operations and Facilities Management.</li><li>Implement a post-completion evaluation programme covering clients, project/construction managers, contractors, and consultants to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Establish and govern robust project controls, risk management, and assurance across the portfolio, ensuring transparent cost and schedule status and effective change management.</li><li>Champion a strong health, safety, security, and environment culture, ensuring all project activities comply with QHSE and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Develop and manage proactive communication protocols with all stakeholders, including executive leadership, the Board, business lines, community, and external partners.</li><li>Maintain constructive relationships with the external design and construction community to facilitate effective consultant and contractor engagement.</li><li>Lead and manage the function's workforce planning, performance management, capability development, succession planning, and Omanization, in consultation with the Projects CoE, to build a high-performing organisation.</li><li>Perform other similar duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.</li></ul><p>Key Interactions Internal: COO and executive peers (VPs/Chiefs), own teams (Major Projects, Off-Plot Projects, Engineering, Construction, Project Technical Services, HSSE, and Contracts & Cost Management), and enabling functions (Operated Assets, Well Delivery, Subsurface, Finance, Contracts & Procurement, Legal, HSSE, and People & Culture). External: Government & regulatory authorities, EPC & DBOOM contractors and specialist construction firms, engineering consultants, and vendors & suppliers.</p><p>Notable Working Conditions: Office environment with intensive computer screen use, plus travel and regular visits to project and construction sites.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required).</li><li>A minimum of 14+ years' progressively responsible experience in capital project delivery, including planning, design management, and capital improvement programming in the oil & gas industry.</li><li>Proven experience leading a projects function or department as a single point of accountability.</li><li>Extensive experience directing multiple large/major capital projects across their full lifecycle.</li><li>Strong expertise in project controls, cost and schedule management, risk management, and assurance.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in contracting strategy, tendering, and contractor/consultant management.</li><li>Experience supervising project managers and multidisciplinary construction professionals.</li><li>Ability to read, analyse, and interpret construction drawings, specifications, codes, and regulations.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value delivery and capital efficiency.</li><li>Behavioral / Leadership Competencies: Strategic and enterprise thinking with executive judgement and accountability.
