<p>Due to the growing number of pipeline projects, MDO is seeking Principal Mining Engineer to lead Technical Studies to own and drive the technical study process and to bridge between the Exploration, Business Development (BD) and Project Development (PD) teams in advancing projects through successive stages of maturity.</p>
<p>As a suitably qualified and experienced Principal Mining Engineer reporting to the Director of Exploration Planning and Chief Exploration Officer, you will initiate, scope, lead and quality-assure multidisciplinary technical studies across the portfolio, integrating geology, mining, metallurgy and processing, infrastructure, environmental and economic inputs into investment-ready deliverables. You will manage external consultants and contractors, govern study quality against stage-gate criteria, and support the BD and PD teams through the full project lifecycle (scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility, project assessment, remediation, and decommissioning/closure).
