<p>The Fuels Manager (FM)/Alternate Site Manager (ASM) provides leadership and guidance to FUELS Department personnel. Responsible for the overall program management of FUELS assets. Manages asset receipts, accountability, serviceability, storage, security, periodic inspections and deployment. Establishes asset reconstitution production schedules to meet United States Air Forces Central (USAFCENT) requirements. Reviews asset reconstitution production, periodic maintenance, and inventory reports to ensure timely and accurate submissions to USAFCENT A4/RF. Provides guidance on environmental issues as they relate to fuel assets. Responsible for program quality assurance as part of ISO 9000 standards. The ASM portion of the position coordinates and oversees the day-to-day operations, maintenance, personnel, and services at assigned location ensuring quality to the customer as directed by Site The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of quotations, policies, and member records within agreed TAT, while contributing to monitoring of the medical loss ratio and the maintenance of consistent service standard.</p><p>Duties & Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Ensure profitable management of the medical insurance portfolio</li><li>Prepare and release new business and renewal quotations for medical business.</li><li>Prepare individual medical quotations, ensuring correct application of rates, benefits, loadings, and exclusions</li><li>Review application forms and supporting medical information for completeness before underwriting decisions are taken</li><li>Refer applications and cases falling outside underwriting authority to reinsurers and follow up to obtain terms within required timelines</li><li>Issue medical policies, endorsements, and renewal documentation accurately and within the agreed turnaround time</li><li>Process medical card requests, additions, deletions, and replacements, and coordinate delivery to clients and members</li><li>Coordinate with TPAs and service providers on member data uploads, card production, and activation of cover</li><li>Maintain accurate underwriting, quotation, and issuance records.</li><li>Monitor pending quotations, applications, and issuance requests and escalate delays or bottlenecks to the line manager</li><li>Prepare and TAT reports to the manager in line with the agreed reporting frequency</li><li>Prepare weekly TAT reports for Medical and Operations covering group & individual medical quotes, card processing, and policy issuance</li><li>Respond to queries from clients, brokers, and internal teams on quotations, cover, cards, and policy documentation</li><li>Support renewal planning by extracting expiry listings and coordinating timely issue of renewal terms</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, underwriting authorities, and internal controls in all issuance activities</li><li>Identify recurring service or process gaps affecting turnaround times and propose practical improvements</li><li>Perform medical activities for Bank Muscat project, ensuring maximum conversion rates against agreed targets</li><li>Underwrite individual and group medical business in line with approved underwriting guidelines</li><li>Review applications, medical information, and group claims data to decide terms, pricing, and exclusions</li><li>Prepare renewal terms based on claims experience and loss ratio, and highlight cases needing review</li><li>Undertake any other tasks delegated by the Head of Department, in line with the role and business requirements</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field</li><li>Professional insurance qualification (CERT CII or equivalent) is an advantage</li><li>Minimum 0-2 years of experience in medical underwriting, quotations, or policy issuance operations</li><li>Competencies: Medical underwriting and quotation accuracy, Turnaround-time discipline and ability to work to deadlines, Loss ratio awareness and commercial judgement, Attention to detail and documentation accuracy, Coordination with reinsurers, TPAs, and providers, Reporting and data analysis skills, Communication and customer service orientation, Teamwork, collaboration, and regulatory compliance awareness</li></ul>

<p>Metallic and non-metallic piping experience needed.</p>
<p>Qualification should be engineering (Mech or Civil).</p>
<p>Computer knowledge: MS Office, Word, Excel, and PPT mandatory with good skills required in these.</p>
<p>Communication skills: Client meetings, internal handling with production and procurement team, MOM preparation, and report making are needed.</p>
<p>Some knowledge about site activity will be an added advantage.</p>
<p>Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel, working under pressure.</p>
<p>Some knowledge about ERP system; training can be provided if needed.</p>
<p>Ability to understand the piping GA, isometrics, and alignment sheet drawings will be an added advantage.</p>
<p>Work location: Sohar, Oman. Full-time permanent position; this is not a contract role.</p>

<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum 2 to 5 years in Oil & Gas field.</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> 350 to 500 OMR based on experience and knowledge.</p>
