They are used to ensure that the process is operating within safe pressure limits. Temperature transmitters gauges, Thermowells, <br> Thermocouple Assemblies. These instruments measure the temperature of fluids or gases in various process equipment, such as heat exchangers, reactors, and distillation columns. <br> They help to ensure that the process is operating within the desired temperature range. Flow meters These instruments measure the flow rate of liquids and gases in pipes and vessels. They are used to monitor the amount of material being transferred between different process stages. Level transmitters These instruments measure the level of liquids and solids in tanks and vessels. They are used to ensure that tanks are not overfilled or emptied too quickly, which could result in safety hazards or process disruptions. Analyzers These instruments measure the chemical composition of process streams. They are used to monitor the quality of products and ensure that the process is operating within the required specifications Control valves / Instrument Manifold / Positioners. These are critical components that control the flow of fluids in process equipment. They are used to adjust the flow rate, pressure, and temperature of the process stream to maintain optimal process conditions. Safety relief valves These are critical components that protect equipment and personnel from overpressure conditions. They are designed to open automatically when the pressure exceeds a predetermined level, releasing excess pressure and preventing equipment damage or personnel injury. <br> <br> Accountabilities: <br> Team management: <br> Leading a team of Instrument maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians by assigning Instrument maintenance tasks, monitor the progress, providing feedback, training, and manage the team performance. <br> Develop and provide effective Training Program for the development of young engineers. <br> Evaluate job performance for the assigned maintenance team and assist Head of Maintenance in setting key performance indicators for the department. <br> Provide guidance & support to maintenance team on identifying critical issues, repetitive failure of rotating equipment (RCA) & work backlogs. <br> Lead the development and ensures execution of Training Program for the development of young engineers. <br> Maintains technical expertise in functional areas of process Instrument. <br> Reviews policies of warehouse materials/spare parts and determines strategy of their handling and procurement <br> Develops IDP of Omanis within the section, prepares training programs and monitors their implementation <br> Participate in Management of Change (MOC) committee review meetings. <br> Monitors staff attendance, attitude and implements discipline within the section. <br> Prepare annual leave plans. <br> Equipment maintenance <br> Implements the Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan within his section. <br> Accountable for all work for instruments maintenance and calibration to the SR2 facility / buildings. <br> Accountable for continuous availability of Instrument equipment such as switchgear, transformers, motors, drivers, UPS/BC, generation system, communication system. <br> Ensure application of best work practices in execution of Instrument maintenance jobs. <br> Responsible for issuing Work Permits on Instrument side and implementing Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure. <br> In emergency drills or emergencies maintains close liaison with On-Scene Commander and Operation Coordinator, for ensuring quick restoration of power. <br><br></p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Minimum Qualifications for this position are a bachelor in Instrument/Electronics Engineering or equivalent</p><p>Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) | Arabic - <h4>Principal safety engineer</h4>
<p>Minimum of 20 years total experience in engineering or consultancy of oil and gas facilities, including a minimum of 15 years’ experience in TSE in onshore oil and gas facilities with demonstrated TSE deliverables development and assurance experience (BP, Shell, PDO projects experience is mandatory).</p>

<li>Track record of managing major oil and gas engineering projects as lead safety engineer (CAPEX > 100 million USD) spanning various project life cycle stages such as feasibility, concept, FEED, execute, project to asset transition.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in development and assurance of:</li>

<li>HSE philosophy, fire and gas philosophy, F & G cause and effects, F & G layouts, F & G mapping.</li>
<li>FEA/FGDEA, flare radiation and dispersion studies, safety equipment layouts, input to facility layouts/facility siting and layout studies, EPZ calculation, QRA. Experience/conducted studies using Shell FRED, SHEPHERD software and/or other PEM/risk integration software. Formal certification preferred.</li>
<li>Hazardous area classification, critical element identification, performance standards, bow ties.</li>
<li>ALARP (as low as reasonably practicable), design HSE case, operations HSE case, AIPSM (asset integrity-process safety management) and HEMP (hazard and effect management process).</li>
<li>Loss prevention aspects such as fire safety, fire protection design (FW demand, hydraulics, surge, PFDs/P & IDs, etc.), escape and fire fighting design.</li>
<li>Human factors engineering studies experience (valve criticality, HFE screening, etc).</li>

<li>Facilitated/led workshops for technical safety, which may include but not be limited to HAZID, HAZOP, bowties, ALARP demonstration, MOPO/SIMOPs workshop, SCE identification workshops, DEM1/DEM2/LFI screenings and demonstrations and other HEMP studies.</li>
<li>Adequate involvement in safeguarding reviews such as design review, HAZOP, IPF, etc.</li>
<li>Involvement in vendor documents evaluations (e.g. technical bid evaluation, datasheets/specifications/MR).</li>

<p>A hands-on professional responsible for directly supervising and controlling all lifting and rigging operations on site to ensure safe and efficient execution.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Supervise all lifting operations on site in accordance with approved lifting plans.</li><li>Conduct pre-lift checks on cranes, rigging equipment, and accessories.</li><li>Ensure all lifting gear is inspected, certified, and fit for use.</li><li>Brief crane operators, riggers, and banksmen before each lift.</li><li>Control exclusion zones and ensure unauthorized personnel are kept clear.</li><li>Communicate with crane operators using standard hand signals or radio.</li><li>Monitor ground conditions, weather, and environmental factors during lifts.</li><li>Stop lifting operations immediately if unsafe conditions are observed.</li><li>Ensure correct rigging configurations and load attachment methods are used.</li><li>Maintain daily lifting logs and inspection checklists.</li><li>Report incidents, near-misses, and equipment defects to the Lifting Engineer and HSE team.</li><li>Coordinate with other site supervisors to plan and sequence lifts.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Age limit 24-50</p><p>Need Gulf Experience</p>
