Key Responsibilities The Field Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Service Engineer will be responsible for executing installation, testing, and commissioning activities of Medium Voltage Gas‑Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Air‑Insulated Switchgear (AIS) systems at customer sites across the Middle East. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands‑on field experience, and effective coordination skills to ensure successful project delivery in full compliance with Siemens standards, customer specifications, and international norms. The core responsibility will focus on commissioning activities, with partial involvement in installation activities as required. Coordination & Interfaces: Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, QA/QC, HSE, operations teams, clients, and consultants. Support troubleshooting activities and root‑cause analysis. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain test records and checklists, prepare detailed reports and commissioning dossiers, manage punch lists, and support system handover activities. Compliance, Quality & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Independently managing site activities, supervising technicians, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
