They are used to ensure that the process is operating within safe pressure limits. Temperature transmitters gauges, Thermowells, <br> Thermocouple Assemblies. These instruments measure the temperature of fluids or gases in various process equipment, such as heat exchangers, reactors, and distillation columns. <br> They help to ensure that the process is operating within the desired temperature range. Flow meters These instruments measure the flow rate of liquids and gases in pipes and vessels. They are used to monitor the amount of material being transferred between different process stages. Level transmitters These instruments measure the level of liquids and solids in tanks and vessels. They are used to ensure that tanks are not overfilled or emptied too quickly, which could result in safety hazards or process disruptions. Analyzers These instruments measure the chemical composition of process streams. They are used to monitor the quality of products and ensure that the process is operating within the required specifications Control valves / Instrument Manifold / Positioners. These are critical components that control the flow of fluids in process equipment. They are used to adjust the flow rate, pressure, and temperature of the process stream to maintain optimal process conditions. Safety relief valves These are critical components that protect equipment and personnel from overpressure conditions. They are designed to open automatically when the pressure exceeds a predetermined level, releasing excess pressure and preventing equipment damage or personnel injury. <br> <br> Accountabilities: <br> Team management: <br> Leading a team of Instrument maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians by assigning Instrument maintenance tasks, monitor the progress, providing feedback, training, and manage the team performance. <br> Develop and provide effective Training Program for the development of young engineers. <br> Evaluate job performance for the assigned maintenance team and assist Head of Maintenance in setting key performance indicators for the department. <br> Provide guidance & support to maintenance team on identifying critical issues, repetitive failure of rotating equipment (RCA) & work backlogs. <br> Lead the development and ensures execution of Training Program for the development of young engineers. <br> Maintains technical expertise in functional areas of process Instrument. <br> Reviews policies of warehouse materials/spare parts and determines strategy of their handling and procurement <br> Develops IDP of Omanis within the section, prepares training programs and monitors their implementation <br> Participate in Management of Change (MOC) committee review meetings. <br> Monitors staff attendance, attitude and implements discipline within the section. <br> Prepare annual leave plans. <br> Equipment maintenance <br> Implements the Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan within his section. <br> Accountable for all work for instruments maintenance and calibration to the SR2 facility / buildings. <br> Accountable for continuous availability of Instrument equipment such as switchgear, transformers, motors, drivers, UPS/BC, generation system, communication system. <br> Ensure application of best work practices in execution of Instrument maintenance jobs. <br> Responsible for issuing Work Permits on Instrument side and implementing Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure. <br> In emergency drills or emergencies maintains close liaison with On-Scene Commander and Operation Coordinator, for ensuring quick restoration of power. <br><br></p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Minimum Qualifications for this position are a bachelor in Instrument/Electronics Engineering or equivalent</p><p>Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) | Arabic - Develop methodologies for assessing system adequacy and security of supply to support Oman s energy transition and electricity-sector decarbonization. Assist the Director of Planning & Economics in the preparation of the seven year statements. Develop planning methodologies and analytical frameworks to support renewable energy integration, standalone battery energy storage systems, pumped hydro storage, hydrogen and other emerging low-carbon technologies. Liaise with key stakeholders to define data requirements, coordinate data collection and ensure input assumptions are complete, consistent and fit for planning and modelling purposes. Manage and undertake day-to-day modelling activities including generation expansion planning, production cost modelling, plant operational simulation studies and fuel usage studies. Evaluate resource options for electricity and water supply, including specific supply technologies with their cost and operating parameters, and maintain associated databases necessary for resource planning. Assess capacity contribution of conventional and renewable generation technologies. Evaluate system flexibility, operability and balancing requirements under increasing renewable energy penetration, including the role of standalone BESS, pumped hydro storage, demand-side resources and other flexibility options. Assess risks and develop mitigation plans associated with demand and supply contingencies. Prepare project definition handover reports to initiate procurement actions. Lead the development and enhancement of generation expansion planning, production cost, resource adequacy and flexibility assessment models. Prepare forecasts of fuel requirements and fuel nominations for MEM and IGC. Review models for forecasting electricity and water demand. Vous intervenez dès les phases amont de conception et accompagnez le développement jusqu'à l'intégration, la qualification et l'industrialisation.<br>Votre rôle consiste à :<br>• Définir et faire évoluer l'architecture électrique du système dans son ensemble (production, distribution et protection de l'énergie, interfaces de puissance). <br>• Garantir la cohérence des interfaces électriques entre le camion porteur, le lanceur, les systèmes embarqués et les munitions. <br>• Piloter techniquement les activités du Bureau d'Études électriques et orienter les choix de conception. <br>• Définir l'architecture des faisceaux, câblages et harnais en intégrant les contraintes d'intégration, de maintenance et de robustesse. <br>• Sélectionner et spécifier les équipements électriques et électroniques adaptés à des environnements sévères. <br>• Garantir la conformité des architectures vis-à-vis des exigences de sécurité électrique, de compatibilité électromagnétique (CEM) et de sûreté de fonctionnement. <br>• Contribuer aux analyses de risques, aux revues techniques et aux arbitrages d'architecture. <br>• Accompagner les activités d'intégration, d'essais, de qualification et d'industrialisation. <br>Au sein d'équipes pluridisciplinaires (systèmes, mécanique, logiciel, essais, production), vous jouez un rôle central dans la réussite d'un programme stratégique à forte valeur technologique</p><br><br><p>Rejoindre Safran Electronics & Defense, c'est l'opportunité de :<br>• Travailler sur un système complet associant véhicule, lanceur et munitions, avec une vision globale du produit et de ses performances. <br>• Mettre à profit une expertise acquise dans l'automobile ou l'industrie pour relever de nouveaux défis technologiques dans le domaine de la défense. <br>• Évoluer dans un environnement technique de haut niveau où les décisions d'architecture ont un impact direct sur les performances du système. <br>• Collaborer avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires couvrant l'ensemble du cycle de développement, de la conception aux essais terrain. <br>• Bénéficier des opportunités d'évolution d'un grand groupe international, vers l'expertise technique, l'architecture système ou le pilotage de programmes. <br>Safran favorise l'équilibre entre vie professionnelle et vie personnelle grâce à des modalités de travail adaptées aux activités, ainsi qu'à une politique de rémunération attractive incluant intéressement, épargne salariale et avantages sociaux Groupe.</p><br><br><p>Diplômé(e) d'une formation Bac+5 en génie électrique, électrotechnique ou électronique de puissance, vous justifiez d'une expérience significative dans la conception et l'architecture de systèmes électriques embarqués complexes.<br>Vous avez développé votre expertise dans des environnements exigeants tels que l'automobile, le poids lourd, les véhicules spéciaux, le ferroviaire, l'aéronautique ou la défense.<br>Vous maîtrisez notamment :<br>• La définition d'architectures électriques complètes et de réseaux de distribution d'énergie. <br>• L'intégration de systèmes embarqués sur plateformes mobiles. <br>• La conception et l'industrialisation de faisceaux, câblages et harnais complexes. <br>• Les problématiques de sécurité électrique, de compatibilité électromagnétique (CEM) et de sûreté de fonctionnement. <br>• Les activités de validation, qualification et essais. <br>Une expérience dans le domaine automobile ou chez un équipementier est particulièrement appréciée.<br>Au-delà de vos compétences techniques, vous êtes reconnu(e) pour votre capacité à prendre de la hauteur sur des problématiques complexes, à fédérer des équipes pluridisciplinaires et à porter des décisions techniques structurantes.<br>Vous appréciez les environnements où l'autonomie, la rigueur et l'esprit d'initiative sont valorisés.<br>Vous souhaitez mettre votre expertise au service de systèmes à forte criticité et contribuer à des programmes stratégiques répondant à des enjeux de souveraineté et de sécurité.</p><br><br><br> </div>
