<p><h4>Principal accountabilities</h4>
<p>The power gen mechanic operates, maintains, tests, repairs, services and stores electrical generating equipment, water distribution systems, flood lights, air compressors and aircraft arresting systems. Performs required inspections and scheduled maintenance, troubleshoots repair situations and performs other maintenance on all assigned equipment. Ensures compliance with performance work statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS).</p>
<ul>
<li>Examines electrical equipment and systems for damages, corrosion and operation.</li>

<li>Interprets electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints and maintenance malfunction data related to assigned equipment to prevent potential systems failure.</li>
<li>Analyzes malfunctions by inspection, observation of operation and use of test equipment.</li>
<li>Repairs, inspects, fabricates, cleans, operates, maintains, corrosion controls, reconstitutes and prepares BEAR assets/equipment air/sea/road haul shipments in accordance with maintenance action sheets, technical orders, manuals, checklists, regulations, maintenance action sheets and unit type code (UTC) configuration listings.</li>
<li>Performs required inspections and scheduled maintenance, troubleshoots repair situations and performs other maintenance on all assigned equipment.</li>
<li>Interprets electrical drawings, schematics and blueprints.</li>
<li>Conforms to USAF/Amentum safety, hazardous material and quality standards.</li>
<li>Performs maintenance in accordance with maintenance action sheets, Air Force technical orders and Amentum directives.</li>
<li>Assists in the erection, construction and operation of bare base power generation and associated equipment to support real world exercises and contingencies.</li>
<li>Performs servicing and/or maintenance of in-use assets as required.</li>
<li>Ensures all tools, personal protective equipment and clothing issued remain safe, secure and serviceable, reporting any deficiencies.</li>
<li>Prepares and completes documentation including work orders, USAF supply and Amentum forms and updates Maximo.</li>
<li>Operates material handling equipment as required.</li>
<li>Inspects hazardous materials within the assigned work center and coordinates with the appropriate office for the disposal of HAZMAT when required.</li>
<li>Performs other tasks and duties as directed by Amentum/USAF tasking.</li>
<li>May be required to assist in other departments when directed or requested to accomplish a specific task or project.</li>
<li>Performs temporary duty (TDY) in the area of operations as required by USAF/Amentum tasking.</li>

<li>Must have organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at a beginner level.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.</li>

<li>Must be experienced on high/low voltage generators and load testing or equivalent automobile mechanical experience.</li>
<li>May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.</li>
<li>Will be required to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.</li>
<li>Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment.</li>
<li>Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.</li>

<li>Perform all Instrumentation activities role in Tank Terminal Industry & Duqm Petrochemical Terminal.</li>
<li>Prepare and signatory for Permit to Work activities within area of responsibility as licensed and advised by Supervisor and perform operations and maintenance activities in accordance with established company Quality Systems and manufacturers' practices and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure the availability of instrumentation, analyzers, control systems, and communication systems in the area, including the best work practices in maintenance.</li>
<li>Install, maintain, repair, overhaul, calibrate, and test various industrial instruments such as control valves, transmitters, DCS, Fire and Gas Systems, ESD systems, and pressure controls.</li>

<p>During the onshore construction and commissioning phase on yard, the start-up MultiTech will assist the Start-up Supervisor with:</p>

<li>Prepare the operation of first fill with the commissioning team.</li>
<li>Prepare arrival on site (PTW, KOM, JSA, etc.) of vendors involved in the start-up of the facility.</li>
<li>Identify and check the critical valves (especially on brownfield) used as battery limits for leak tests.</li>
<li>Check any type B and C punch list and investigate if requested by the Start-up Supervisor, Field Operations Lead, the OTL or the OIM.</li>
<li>Ensure the list of inhibitions and isolations, with associated certificates and risk assessments, is properly signed and validated by the relevant persons.</li>
<li>Be aware of potential downgraded situations on site and update the core crew on any changes associated with start-up activity.</li>
<li>Participate in HazId, JSA and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews of new facilities.</li>
<li>Prepare, update and check on site the red line mark-up P&ID at the end of the construction and during commissioning phase. Ensure a set of up-to-date P&IDs is always available for the Field Operation team.</li>
<li>Contribute to the Incident Free initiative on site by reporting any anomaly, defect, bad practice, lack of equipment or lack of competence.</li>
<li>Assist the Start-up Supervisor to ensure all operators on site are well aware of the new safety systems and process upgrades brought by the project.</li>
<li>Maintain local signage and barriers adapted to the situation over time, with special attention to the boundaries of the SimOps area, the exit walkways and scaffolds.</li>
<li>Assist the teams with procedures for mechanical isolations, de-isolations and draining.</li>
<li>Suggest improvements and request modifications if Operating Procedures are not satisfactory.</li>
<li>All staff must be willing to participate in crisis response training and to assist during emergency response situations if required.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Context and environment</h4>
<p>Position will be full-time onshore work during engineering and construction in yards. Offshore rotation during HUC and start-up. Travel between sites will be necessary. During the offshore phase work will be on a rotation of 28 days on / 28 days off offshore Al Shaheen Field.</p>
<p>The position will transition to Offshore FOPS on completion of the project.</p>
<h4>Requirements</h4>
<h4>Minimum qualifications and experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>Education: Higher National Diploma or certificate (equivalent to A-levels + 2 years' study).</li>
<li>Industry experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in oil and gas production operations.</li>
<li>COMPEX Certification is mandatory.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in offshore oil and gas production facilities.</li>
<li>Previous experience with national oil companies or large international operators is an advantage.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Technical, personal and linguistic competencies</h4>

<li>Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others.</li>
<li>Proven sense of operational responsibility and courage to intervene and challenge.</li>
<li>Previous experience with offshore operation, production, oil and gas, preferably former control room operators.</li>

<h4>Multi Technician - Instruments</h4>

<li>Thorough knowledge of instrumentation and measurement signal principles, safety systems (ESD / Fire and Gas), field calibration equipment and tools such as Hart Communicators.</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of Ex philosophies and principles used in the petrochemical industry, with participation in and passing of CompEx course (Ex1-4).</li>
<li>Demonstrable evidence of attending and passing a qualification in Small Tube Boring.</li>
<li>Some production operator experience preferable.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Multi Technician - Electrical</h4>
<ul>
<li>Thorough knowledge of HV and LV equipment such as generators, motors, electrical systems and associated switchgear.</li>
