<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p> <strong>Site Supervisor Reservoir Construction</strong> </p> <p> <strong>Job Summary:</strong> </p> <p>The Site Supervisor with expertise in reservoir construction, pump rooms, and associated compound works, including waterproofing and structural activities. Skilled in interpreting drawings, setting out, bar bending schedules (BBS), and advanced shuttering systems (H20 beams and steel walings). Strong in manpower planning, material management, and executing works as per project schedules. Proven ability to ensure quality, safety, and timely project delivery in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.</p> <p> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Supervise all site activities related to reservoir construction including excavation, PCC, RCC works, waterproofing, and backfilling.</li> <li>Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.</li> <li>Monitor daily progress and report to the Project Engineer/Manager.</li> <li>Coordinate with subcontractors, operators, and labor teams for smooth workflow.</li> <li>Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.</li> <li>Maintain site safety standards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.</li> <li>Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers.</li> <li>Check quality of work including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete works.</li> <li>Ensure proper curing and finishing of concrete structures.</li> <li>Liaise with surveyors for level and alignment checks.</li> <li>Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and material consumption logs.</li> <li>Identify and resolve site issues and delays proactively.</li> <li>Ensure proper housekeeping and site organization.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Required Qualifications:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Diploma in Civil Engineering</li> <li>Minimum 3 7 years of experience in reservoir, water tank, or infrastructure construction projects.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Skills:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of RCC works, waterproofing, and structural construction.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.</li> <li>Good leadership and team management skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of safety standards and site practices.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of material requirements for elevated water tanks.</li> <li>Understanding of stage-wise construction procedures as per project schedule.</li> </ul></div></section>
