<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>JOB PURPOSE: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the senior-most financial executive at Mazoon Mining Company, responsible for providing strategic financial direction and robust financial control across the Finance, Accounting, Contracts, and Procurement functions. The CFO ensures the Company's financial sustainability, effective capital stewardship, and value-for-money procurement throughout the project development, commissioning, and operational phases of a 2.5 Mtpa copper processing operation, supporting long-term shareholder value creation for Minerals Development Oman (MDO). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP 1. Financial Strategy & Planning Develop and execute the Company's financial strategy in alignment with its overall business plan and Board-approved objectives. Provide strategic financial input to the CEO and leadership team on capital allocation, investment decisions, and long-range planning. Conduct financial due diligence on new projects and provide analysis to support executive and Board decision-making. Serve as a member of the executive leadership team and participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives and operating models. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT 2. Budgeting & Forecasting Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets; report performance against budget to the CEO and Board. Lead the preparation and presentation of rolling financial forecasts, including Life-of-Mine cost modelling. Conduct Economic Value Added (EVA) analysis and provide periodic business performance insights to the Board of Directors. 3. Financial Reporting & Accounting Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable Omani reporting standards. Manage month-end and year-end close processes including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and overhead allocation. Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory financial reports required by government bodies. 4. Treasury & Cash Management Ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational and project financing requirements at all times. Monitor cash balances and forecasts, manage debt and equity financing arrangements, and oversee investment of surplus funds. Manage lender reporting, debt covenant compliance, and banking relationships. CONTRACTS & PROCUREMENT 5. Contracts Management Lead the end-to-end contracts function including development, negotiation, execution, and administration of all major commercial agreements. Oversee tender management processes for capital and operational contracts, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and compliance with Company policy. Maintain a contracts register and ensure all contractual obligations, milestones, and change orders are tracked, managed, and reported to the CEO. Advise the executive team on contractual risk, terms, and commercial positions for all significant agreements. 6. Procurement & Supply Chain Lead the Procurement function to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-assured sourcing of goods and services across all Company operations. Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with the Life-of-Mine plan, operational requirements, and MDO governance standards. Establish and manage preferred supplier frameworks, long-term supply agreements, and vendor performance evaluation programmes. Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable Omani regulations, Company policy, and MDO approval thresholds. Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and logistics to ensure critical spares and consumables availability at all times. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT 7. Team Leadership & Omanisation Lead, coach, and develop the Finance, Contracts, and Procurement teams to build organisational capability and depth. Champion Omanisation targets within all functions under the CFO's oversight. Evaluate team performance transparently and ensure structured training and career development plans are in place.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field mandatory. Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA) is highly desirable. An MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is an advantage. Certifications: CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA preferred. CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent is an advantage. Experience:Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, contracts, and/or procurement in a heavy industrial setting. At least 5 years of executive-level financial and commercial leadership (CFO, Finance Director, Commercial Director, or equivalent). Proven track record managing finance and procurement functions for major capital projects including project financing, construction contracting, and operational ramp-up. Experience in the mining, oil & gas, or large-scale industrial sector is essential. GCC regional experience, particularly Oman, is highly preferred.</p><p></p></section>

Under the leadership of the Manager of Marketing and Communication, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel. This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness. This role assists with building deep partnerships with their regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to verify all local, social, and digital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the selling efforts for the organization.</p><p>CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Hotel Marketing and Advertising Assists with the execution of the annual marketing plan to budget . Provides support to Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns to target in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel. Works with advertising agency on the tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans, particularly for food and beverage promotions. Assists with the management of F&B media schedules email marketing and display advertising.; Stays informed about the status, performance evaluation, opportunities, and issues related to online programs and initiatives. Helps verify that all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice. Social Media Content Management Supports facilitation ofsocial media engagement and updating content in local digital channels (e.g., hotel website, travel sites). Assists with promotions campaign in F&B, weddings, spa, rooms and conferences through relevant digital and social media channels. Engages in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and responds accordingly. Public Relations and Visual Asset Management Participates in the development of comprehensive PR plan per quarter along with agency; Maintains a comprehensive list of local media contracts, with particular emphasis on food critics and bloggers. Manages assigned accounts as per the media account management system. Assists with writing and distribution of all press releases for property events, promotions, and outlets. Supports execution of hotel sponsored events, community/government relations activities, and press promotional activities. Helps manage external vendors and media agencies; Assists with review of PR leads from the continent PR Leader regarding which are the best media to promote the hotel. Supports the co-ordination of photography for F&B advertising, collateral and public relations purposes between the hotel, advertising agency and the regional field marketing teams. Assists with photo shoots for seasonal or festive promotions in partnership with the cluster or area marketing team. May serve as a point of contact for regionally approved local photographers for food, amenity, and property imagery. Direct Marketing and Collateral Development Assists with coordination and execution of Hotel and F&B printed materials. Controls quantity and inventory of all Hotel marketing collateral and verifies copies are filed in a comprehensive manner. Supports the production of all property, F&B display, and temporary signage in hotel public areas. Assists with the execution of F&B direct marketing activities. Verifies all collateral is as per brand standard guidelines and in compliance with Brand Standard Audit (BSA). General Assists in the development, co-ordination and execution of all communications activities. Helps with the publication of hotel s newsletter(s). Supports communications duties and functions as deemed necessary. Assists in the liaison and execution of joint F&B promotions. Works with the Manager of Marketing and Communication to verify the Hotel s website and related websites are updated on a regular basis. Provides marketing assistance and act as a marketing subject matter expert for GMs, Sales Leaders and Managers, and Revenue leaders. Keeps abreast of competition and its collateral, advertising, and marketing efforts and constantly evolving digital and marketing trends. Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by manager. <p>To provide specialized legal advice and support to the Debt Management Office on all matters related to sovereign debt management, including domestic and international debt issuances, financing agreements, liability management operations, and the supporting legal and regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable Omani laws and international market practices, and safeguarding the State s legal and financial interests</p><ul><li>Provide legal advice on domestic and international sovereign debt issuances, including bonds, Sukuk, loans, and other financing instruments.</li><li>Review, draft, and support negotiation of legal documentation relating to sovereign debt transactions.</li><li>Review and provide legal advice on the Base Prospectus, offering circulars, and programme documentation for EMTN/MTN issuances, including assessment of disclosure requirements, risk factors, and selling restrictions and applicable regulatory compliance statements.</li><li>Assess term sheets, guarantee documentation, and comfort letters for Government-Related Entities (GREs) seeking sovereign support, ensuring clarity of commitment, enforceability, authority/approvals, and alignment with the Ministry s fiscal and legal frameworks.</li><li>Ensure transaction structures and documentation comply with applicable Omani legislation, relevant regulatory requirements, and international market standards.</li><li>Support legal due diligence processes for new issuances, refinancing, and liability management operations, including verification of conditions precedent and documentation completeness.</li><li>Review and assess legal opinions from external counsel, banks' counsel, and other transaction parties, ensuring adequacy and appropriate coverage.</li><li>Advise on contractual obligations and protections, including covenants, events of default, representations, undertakings, sovereign commitments, dispute resolution provisions, and other material legal terms.</li><li>Support transaction closing mechanics, signature processes, and closing deliverables / completion mechanics.</li><li>Ensure the DMO's compliance with the Public Debt Law and its Executive Regulations, including transaction governance, documentation standards, approvals discipline, and record retention, and support implementation of legal and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting sovereign borrowing, debt markets, and financial instruments, assess their implications for the Ministry, and brief DMO leadership with concise legal notes.</li><li>Advise on cross-border regulatory compliance, including international sanctions compliance provisions and AML requirements, in coordination with relevant compliance and counterparty onboarding processes, where applicable.</li><li>Support coordination with relevant regulatory and oversight bodies, including the Central Bank of Oman and other competent authorities, where required.</li><li>Identify and assess legal risks arising from debt structures, guarantees, covenants, sovereign undertakings, governing law and jurisdiction provisions, and enforcement or dispute resolution clauses, and propose mitigation measures that protect the State s interests.</li><li>Support the review of amendments, consents, waivers, and variations across the lifecycle of financing arrangements.</li><li>Provide legal support for international bond and Sukuk transactions governed by international capital markets documentation (ICMA standards) and market standards.</li><li>Review and support negotiation of trust deeds, fiscal agency agreements, paying agency agreements, subscription agreements, and dealer agreements for bond and Sukuk issuances.</li><li>Advise on ICMA-standard provisions including representations and warranties, covenants, events of default, listing rules / disclosure requirements, and trustee/fiscal agent appointment terms.</li><li>Support Shariah compliance review and coordinate with Shariah advisors on Sukuk structures and documentation, ensuring legal consistency with Islamic finance principles, as confirmed by the appointed Shariah advisors.</li><li>Provide legal support for sovereign loan transactions governed by Loan Market Association (LMA) documentation and English law.</li><li>Review, assess, and support negotiation of LMA-standard documentation, including facility agreements (bilateral and syndicated), term sheets, accession and transfer provisions, and amendments, waivers, and restatements.</li><li>Advise on key LMA concepts and provisions, including conditions precedent, utilisation mechanics, representations and warranties, covenants, events of default, prepayment and cancellation provisions, and lender consent requirements.</li><li>Review governing law, jurisdiction, dispute resolution provisions, and sovereign protections, in coordination with MOJLA and external counsel.</li><li>Act as the focal point for engaging and managing external legal counsel for sovereign debt transactions, including scoping, selection recommendations, engagement letters, performance oversight, and fee control.</li><li>Manage legal costs and fee controls against agreed scope and transaction timelines, ensuring value-for-money and appropriate documentation to support governance and audit requirements.</li><li>Maintain and organize legal documentation related to sovereign debt and financing transactions.</li><li>Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal legal guidelines, templates, and standard documentation for debt operations, ensuring alignment with Omani legal requirements, approvals governance, and international market conventions.</li><li>Coordinate with the Ministry of Justice & Legal Affairs (MOJLA) on matters requiring centralized legal review, State legal representation, formal legal opinions, or disputes/arbitration, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Prepare legal analyses and supporting documentation for referral to MOJLA where required.</li><li>Liaise with MOJLA and MoF-appointed external counsel on sovereign debt transactions and legal issues of national significance.</li><li>Contribute to internal committees, working groups, and approval processes related to debt management activities.</li><li>Support the preparation of legal inputs for internal memoranda, ministerial submissions, committee papers, and senior management briefings.</li><li>Maintain a legally auditable transaction deal file for each financing/issuance, including approvals, executed documentation, variations, and key legal positions, in line with governance and audit requirements.</li><li>Provide legal support to initiatives aimed at the development of the domestic debt capital market, including the review and enhancement of legal and regulatory frameworks, standard documentation, and compliance with applicable laws, disclosure requirements, and market conduct standards, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified lawyer (admission in Oman and/or a recognized common-law jurisdiction) advantage</li><li>LLM in Banking/Finance/Capital Markets Law advantage</li><li>Relevant
