This can often involve implementing additional processes beyond what is market standard.</p><p><strong>Activities</strong></p><p>Team Management</p><p>Direct: Responsible for a team of Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Manager(s).</p><p>Functional / Transversal: Supervision and close coordination with external stakeholders (outsourcing accounting firm, auditors, tax advisors, insurance brokers, lenders, lenders advisors).</p><p>Contributes to budget and LTP exercise on the Oman perimeter.</p><p>Senior Finance Manager (SFM) will oversee Finance, Accounting and Reporting activities for two to five Joint Venture Special Project Companies (SPC) which will design, build, own and operate medium size (100 MW to 500 MW) utility scale solar PV and wind power plants in Oman. The ARISE Program is a USD 100 million initiative spanning six years, designed to deliver climate action, ecosystem restoration, and economic growth through Nature-based Solutions (NbS) integrated into the Bioeconomy and Sustainable Special Economic Zones (SSEZs). The program ultimately targets the restoration of 30,000 hectares of land, an estimated 750,000 tCO2e/year in greenhouse gas emission reductions, and the creation of over 1,000 green jobs. The implementation of the ARISE Program is structured around two phases. Phase 1 will cover 2 years, and Phase 2 will be over 4 years. The funding has been approved for Phase 1.</p><p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>Based in Salalah, in Dhofar Governorate, Oman, the Senior Associate, Data Analytics Data Collection Mechanism ( Senior Associate ) supports the implementation and operation of the data process is a foundational technical role responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing the data infrastructure that underpins the entire ARISE Program's evidence base. Reporting to the ARISE Program Lead and working in close coordination with the MEL & Data Officer, this position contributes to maintaining a reliable and centralized data repository to support monitoring, reporting, and program decision-making. This role focuses on supporting data management processes including assisting with data collection workflows, maintaining data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources (field surveys, GIS, GHG inventories, socio-economic datasets), and supporting data quality and consistency. The Senior Associate works closely with the MEL & Data Officer to support how data is collected, stored, processed, and made accessible for program use.</p><p>PURPOSE</p><ul><li>Support the implement (Progress & Cost)</p><p>Perform analysis for Maintenance Commitments & joint review with Execution teams for cleansing & control.</p><p>Budget reports, analysis to ensure that expense bookings are done under correct budget heads.</p><p>Conduct Analysis on Actual spent vs Solomon benchmark, develop strategies and action plans to improve in lagging areas (to next Quartile)</p><p>Focal point for Solomon studies regarding the maintenance function, leading the collection of data for the study inputs tables to be submitted to Operating Excellence team.</p><p>Reporting & Continuous Improvements</p><p>Prepare, Validate and issuance of periodic maintenance performance reports (daily, weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly etc.)</p><p>Develop Performance reports and feedback in regard to maintenance performance, compliance monitoring to implemented work processes and issuance of recommendation to the execution teams.</p><p>Analysis of maintenance performance KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvements.</p><p>Maintain the maintenance department Policy, processes and procedures.</p><p>Budget reports and analysis to ensure that expense bookings are made under correct budget heads.</p><p>Monitoring the completion of MOCs under the maintenance function implementation and follow up with projects leaders on delays of implementation / closing.</p><p>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of function / department systems, processes and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
