<p><strong>Core and technical skills</strong></p>

<li>4-6 years of experience in indirect tax, more specifically value added tax (VAT) in the GCC region.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields with strong academic background.</li>

Uses technical data, wiring diagrams, ohm meters, electronic measuring equipment, GSE and special tools. Expert level in accomplishing and training of wire repair procedures.<br>
Uploads operational software, flight programs (OFP) into system components and maintains currency and software upgrade efficiency.<br>

We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of <b>Electrical Engineer – Solar PV / Electrical Power</b> in <b>Oman</b>. Our client, New Alfa International, is seeking skilled and motivated electrical engineering professionals with strong experience in solar PV, electrical construction, EPC projects, and testing & commissioning. Candidates with relevant GCC project exposure are preferred. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.<br></p><br>Key Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Execute electrical construction activities for utility-scale and large rooftop solar PV projects.<br></li><li>Supervise installation and integration of LV and MV electrical networks in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.<br></li><li>Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, cable schedules, and related technical documentation.<br></li><li>Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of solar inverters and associated electrical equipment.<br></li><li>Conduct electrical inspections, functional testing, troubleshooting, and pre-commissioning checks.<br></li><li>Ensure site electrical works comply with project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable safety standards.<br></li><li>Coordinate with civil, mechanical, commissioning, and project teams to achieve construction milestones.<br></li><li>Prepare technical reports, testing records, punch lists, and commissioning documentation.<br></li></ul>Required Skills<br><ul><li><b>Solar PV Engineering:</b> Strong practical knowledge of utility-scale or large rooftop solar PV electrical systems.<br></li><li><b>LV/MV Networks:</b> Experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems.<br></li><li><b>Inverters:</b> Hands-on understanding of solar inverter installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.<br></li><li><b>SLD Review:</b> Ability to interpret and review Single Line Diagrams and related electrical engineering drawings.<br></li><li><b>Testing & Commissioning:</b> Practical experience carrying out electrical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.<br></li></ul>Preferred Skills<br><ul><li>GCC project experience.<br></li><li>Experience working in EPC construction environments.<br></li><li>Exposure to utility-scale solar power plants.<br></li></ul>Work Experience Requirements<br><p>Candidates must have <b>5–8 years of experience in electrical construction</b>, including a <b>minimum of 3 years in solar PV projects</b> involving utility-scale installations or large rooftop systems. <p>Plan and execute Capability Development Coach program for the designated Area at RPI Assets Management, under TL Capability scope s acting as Subject matter expert for the development knowledge, skills, and competencies to Assets Management staff, by: (1) Working closely with individuals and teams to identify their strengths and weaknesses, (2) Develop personalized development plans & solution to build the effectiveness & capability of staff and develop organizational effectiveness and performance, (3) Provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals; (4) Play role on leadership & Culture coaching/ Enhancement in order to provide a reliable platform for training and ensure that staff is properly assessed while training courses provided would further enhance their capabilities of operations, skills and competencies.</p><p>The position will act in accordance with the Group s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.</p><p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Scope</strong></p><p>RPI Assets Management staff</p><p><strong>Needs Assessment</strong></p><p>Design and develop training programs,</p><p><strong>Coaching</strong></p><p>Training Facilitation,</p><p><strong>Monitoring & Evaluation</strong></p><p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Needs assessment</strong></p><p>Assessing the needs of individuals and teams by identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. This involves conducting assessments, such as performance appraisals, skills assessments, and personality assessments.</p><p>Execute assigned tasks related with the identification of individual and team business related training needs.</p><p><strong>Development planning</strong></p><p>Developing personalized development plans for individuals and teams to address their development needs. This involves identifying the most appropriate learning methods, setting goals, and developing action plans to help individuals and teams achieve their goals. P</p><p>reparation of Individual Development Programs (IDPs) in conjunction with line managers, Training Department and Performance Management team to provide systematic guidelines towards competency enhancements of individuals.</p><p>Support on the development of People Planning, including all learning and development as per IDP, working collaboratively with relevant departments (Training & HR) to meet their set goals.</p><p>Contributes to the development and implementation of ITQAN competency program in order to achieve department goals and objectives.</p><p><strong>Coaching</strong></p><p>Providing guidance and support to individuals and teams to help them develop their skills and competencies. This involves coaching them on their strengths and weaknesses, providing feedback, and helping them identify opportunities for improvement.</p><p>Facilitating training sessions for individuals and teams to develop their skills and competencies. This involves delivering training materials, providing hands-on learning opportunities, and assessing the effectiveness of the training.</p><p>Working pro-actively with Training Department and Third-Party Training Providers to commission/develop appropriate training and interventions to improve and enhance the learning and development offer.</p><p>Coordinates the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the on the job training and summer programs for students assigned to the area and/or function from various educational institutes in Oman.</p><p>Execute orientation programs for new employees in Maintenance & company visitors etc.</p><p><strong>Training facilitation</strong></p><p>Facilitating training sessions for individuals and teams to develop their skills and competencies. This involves delivering training materials, providing hands-on learning opportunities, and assessing the effectiveness of the training.</p><p><strong>Monitoring and evaluation</strong></p><p>Monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals and teams to ensure that they are achieving their goals. This involves tracking progress, providing feedback, and adjusting development plans as needed.</p><p>Support in monitoring Staff Development Strategy; ensuring that this complements department strategic direction and business goals & objectives.</p><p>Support on Monitoring operational need & planned solutions on succession planning, talent management and training for department s staff.</p><p>Support on the review of staff performance appraisals to identify skill gaps and carry out Training Needs Analysis (TNA)</p><p>Conducts assessments of staff after completion of training programs to ensure the training objectives have been achieved.</p><p>Support on implementation and evaluation of transition training solutions for operations trainees.</p><p>Support the evaluation of course evaluation forms / feedback and proposes corrective measures to ensure effective / improved training and development results.</p><p>Develops weekly / monthly reports as required by the department.</p><p><strong>Key interactions</strong></p><p>Internal: All TSD Staff (Managers, Team Leaders, Engineers, etc.), Process Trainer, Training Department, ITQAN focal point, Area Manager, HSE & Fire Department and HR</p><p>External: Contractors, Vendors, 3rd Parties, Consultants & Suppliers</p><p><strong>Notable Working Conditions.</strong> Field Operations and office environment, Moderate to intensive computer screen use.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p>Minimum Qualifications for this position are a University bachelor s degree in engineering or equivalent.in addition, two of the following certifications or equivalent is required: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Coaching certificates, Train the trainer.<br>Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) | Arabic -
