Decoration and Displays to be responsible for the pin boards and other displays in the classroom. To make sure that there is a lively and attractive display of material that is relevant to the various themes in Social Studies, Class Reader, etc. To monitor general class cleanliness and tidiness. There should be no direct communication between Class teachers and Parents. All communication is channeled through the AQC. Class teachers should report problems immediately to the AQC. A file will be provided for you to note sown issues, if the AQC is not available. All problems must be regarded as confidential. They can be discussed only with the AQC or the Director not with other teachers or supervisors. Exam invigilation duties. Throughout these tasks, the GTA will ensure students are receiving guidance on their work, methodologies and outcomes.</p><p>- Engage in Research: Work with research supervisors and assist in the conduct of research activities that lead to meeting the research goals of the faculty.</p><p>- Collaborate for Grants: Support in developing research collaborations that result in research grant applications, enhancing the department's funding and research capabilities.</p><p>- Curriculum Development: Participate in curriculum development, and graduate supervision while attracting research funding to support program initiatives.</p><p>- Community Engagement: Participate in service activities for the university as well as professional and local communities, promoting the importance of engineering science.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>- Reporting to the academic director of the relevant faculty (line manager)</p><p>- Complete an annual report, submit to the line manager</p><p>- Following the shadowing period (1 year) to lead on the seminar delivery for the shadowed modules while continuing to attend the same lectures.</p><p>- Assisting in assessment marking and entering grades on the system</p><p>- Support discussion sections, tutorials, lab sessions, and attending faculty meetings</p><p>- Assist students with coursework, study strategies, and problem-solving</p><p>- Address student concerns and refer serious issues to the instructor</p><p>- Set up equipment or software for labs or demonstrations</p><p>- Take attendance and manage class records</p><p>- Assist in invigilating exams</p><p>- Provide feedback about student progress and course effectiveness</p><p>Job Features Responsible To Faculty Dean, Faculty of Engineering Location Muscat, Oman (some local travel may be required) Hours Full time/Part Time.
