<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Lead and manage end-to-end departmental operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project objectives.</p> <p>Coordinate with Operations, Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, Engineering, and Project teams for smooth project execution.</p> <p>Oversee fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities on Oil &amp; Gas projects, ensuring high-quality standards.</p> <p>Develop, implement, and control project schedules, manpower plans, and execution strategies.</p> <p>Ensure strict adherence to HSE, QA/QC, and client standards at all stages of the project.</p> <p>Monitor project budgets, productivity, timelines, and resource utilization, ensuring cost-effective execution.</p> <p>Manage contractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain quality and efficiency.</p> <p>Conduct risk assessments, identify potential project challenges, and implement mitigation strategies.</p> <p>Prepare and present detailed progress reports, technical reports, and management updates for clients and senior management.</p> <p>Drive process improvements, efficiency optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.</p> <p>Lead technical problem-solving sessions and provide innovative solutions to complex project challenges.</p> <p>Ensure proper documentation of engineering activities, work permits, and compliance records.</p> <p>Mentor, train, and develop junior engineers and team members to enhance departmental capabilities.</p> <p>Represent the company in client meetings, audits, technical reviews, and inspections.</p> <p>Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.</p> <p>Review and approve designs, drawings, and engineering deliverables in line with project requirements.</p> <p>Ensure effective utilization of project management software, reporting tools, and engineering systems.</p> <p>Implement lessons learned from previous projects to improve current and future project performance.</p> <p>Maintain strong communication and reporting channels with project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.</p> <p>Drive strategic planning initiatives for departmental growth and long-term project sustainability.</p> <p>Professional work environment</p> <p>Long-term project stability and growth</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Bachelor s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline)</p> <p>Minimum 10+ years experience in the Oman market</p> <p>Strong background in Oil &amp; Gas fabrication projects</p> <p>Valid driving license (GCC/Oman preferred)</p> <p>Proven ability to manage 15+ staff</p> <p>Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills</p> <p>Proficiency in SAP and project/engineering software</p> <p>PMP certification preferred</p> <p> Technical &amp; Software Skills</p> <p>SAP (MM / PM / PS modules preferred)</p> <p>Project management &amp; engineering software</p> <p>MS Office (advanced reporting &amp; presentations)</p> <p>Budgeting, cost control, and resource planning tools</p><p></p></section>
