<p>Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department. Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts. Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies. Notify manager or supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock. Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas. Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains. Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas.</p>
<p>Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).</p>
<p>Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. <p>A new financial markets infrastructure venture is being established in Oman, backed by prominent institutional investors and operating under an international common law framework. We are hiring an Accounting Officer to own the day-to-day financial records of the company: general ledger, monthly close, management accounts inputs, audit preparation, and tax compliance.</p>
<p>What the role covers</p>
<ul>
<li>Maintaining the general ledger and chart of accounts; posting journal entries and reconciling all balance sheet accounts</li>
<li>Running the monthly close process in conjunction with the external accountants</li>
<li>Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation calculations</li>
<li>Producing inputs to the monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budget</li>
<li>Preparing audit working papers and supporting schedules; liaising with external auditors during the annual audit</li>
<li>Supporting the preparation of corporate tax and VAT returns and maintaining the records to support them</li>
<li>Applying internal financial controls and escalating weaknesses to the Head of Corporate Services</li>
</ul>

<p>Who we are looking for</p>
<p>Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent), or at least seven years of accounting experience with a strong technical foundation. Demonstrated experience operating a general ledger and managing the monthly close. Working knowledge of IFRS. Familiarity with Omani VAT and corporate tax. Fluent in English; working Arabic preferred.</p>
<p>Experience in a regulated financial services entity or a greenfield environment is an advantage.</p>

I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.</p><br><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities </strong><br>As Front Office Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following: <br>• Review arrivals and departures to plan for the next day’s activities. Coordinate arrivals, departures and billing requirements. Block rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved. <br>• Review daily arrivals and departures to ensure proper handling of Special Guests, VIP Guests and Groups. <br>• Ensure rooms are checked prior to guest’s check-in to ensure they are clean, properly equipped and in a high standard of maintenance. <br>• Implement and maintain guest recognition program. <br>• Assist in scheduling, training and providing feedback to Front Office Receptionist. <br>• Handle guest feedbacks, inquiries, and comments. Log them and initiate appropriate action and follow up. <br>• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.<br>• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. <br>• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.</p><br><p><strong>Qualifications</strong><br>To execute the position of Front Office Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:</p><br><p>• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.<br>• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have knowledge of hotel/resort and policies regarding reservations, discounts and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings.<br>• I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.</p><br><p><i>The above is intended to provide an overview of the role and responsibilities for a Front Office Supervisor at Six Senses Zighy Bay.
