<p>Manage, develop and grow a selective portfolio of customers through face to face selling and strong negotiating skills, to deliver agreed margins and volumes along with the investments in the customer s sites with a ROACE of 15% minimum with in the budget Capex. <span></span><p><br><span><strong>Organizational Setting</strong></span></p><br><p><br><span>FAO Oman works closely with the Government of Oman and a range of national and international partners to support national priorities related to sustainable agrifood systems, food security, nutrition, climate change, natural resource management, and other areas within FAO’s mandate.</span></p><br><p><span>Under the overall guidance of the FAO Representative, the Partnership and Resource Mobilization Specialist will support FAO Oman in strengthening its engagement with national and international partners and in identifying and following up on partnership and resource mobilization opportunities. FAO Oman works closely with the Government of Oman, including relevant ministries and national institutions, to support the implementation of FAO’s programme priorities in areas related to food security, agriculture, fisheries, natural resource management, climate resilience, and sustainable food systems. In this context, the incumbent will support the Office in mapping and engaging with government counterparts, development partners, donors, international financial institutions, private sector entities, UN agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and support the mobilization of financial and technical resources for the implementation of FAO’s programme in Oman. The position will also contribute to maintaining an updated overview of potential partnerships and funding opportunities and to strengthening the follow-up and coordination of related activities.</span></p><br><p><span>The incumbent will work in close coordination with the FAO Oman programme and technical teams, as well as with FAO-RNE, including the Sub-regional Partnership Specialist and Programme Officer (Partnership), relevant technical units, and other FAO offices, as appropriate. This coordination will facilitate the exchange of information, identification of potential funding and partnership opportunities, and preparation of inputs and materials to support engagement with prospective partners and resource providers. The role is responsible for energy performance and decarbonization delivery including energy reviews, optimization, business cases feasibility and measurable energy cost savings. The position serves as focal point for the Energy Management Team (EnMT) as cross function under technical services and acts as the EnMS Management Representative, driving continuous improvement in energy performance across OQEP assets while supporting the company s broader objectives in asset performance, operational efficiency, and decarbonization. <p>Lead and develop the Project Services team and ensure effective coordination across multidisciplinary functions. Establish and maintain project controls covering cost, schedule, quality, performance, and reporting. Develop and control annual project delivery plans, budgets, and project forecasts. Manage CAPEX budgets, cost estimates, cash flow forecasts, and cost control. Monitor project performance and provide accurate KPIs, dashboards, and management reports. Ensure effective management of project risks, changes, and mitigation plans. Oversee document, drawing, data management, handover, and project close-out activities.
