<p><strong>Position summary:</strong><br>
The avionics technician (F-16 Block 50+) fabricates, maintains, and tests electronic systems and components. Adjusts, repairs, and modifies systems and components, and replaces malfunctioning equipment as needed. May be responsible for requirements analysis, systems analysis, performance analysis, and independent test and acceptance of instrumentation including: area surveillance, telemetry, radar, or global positioning system (GPS) metric track (MT). Conducts special technical studies and reports regarding instrumentation configuration, acceptance, and/or performance.</p>
<p><strong>Job description:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform or supervise functions involving installation, repair, testing, and modification on NAV attack, flight controls radar, SMS, Comm/Nav and ECM systems.</li>
<li>Operate avionics systems by using aircraft controls to determine operational condition.</li>
<li>Interpret equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions in systems such as attack control, radar infrared, laser, instruments, displays, flight control, communication, navigation, satellite communications, identification, defensive and offensive ECM systems.</li>
<li>Use technical data wiring diagrams, electronic measurement equipment, AGE/GSE, and special tools.</li>
<li>Remove and install components.</li>
<li>Perform and supervise alignment calibration and bore sight of avionics systems.</li>
<li>Upload operational software into system components.</li>
<li>Inspect, analyze, and evaluate avionics systems.</li>
<li>Interpret inspection findings and determine adequacy of corrective actions.</li>
<li>Review maintenance management publications and procedures.</li>
<li>Recommend methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures.</li>
<li>Perform on-the-job training and instruction; supervise and accept work performed by RAFO technicians.</li>

<p><strong>Minimum requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5 years F-16 Block 50+ or 8 years supporting F-16 aircraft.</li>
<li>AFSC 2A3X4, 2A354, or 2A374 F-16 Block 50 integrated avionics or equivalent.</li>
<li>Performed and/or supervised functions involving installation, repair, testing, and modification on F-16 Block 50 and up avionics systems.</li>
<li>Must be willing to train to other aircraft maintenance tasks as required.</li>
<li>High school diploma.</li>

<p><strong>Clearance requirements:</strong><br>
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization to work at this facility.</p>
<p><strong>Physical/preferred qualifications:</strong></p>

<li>Frequently lifts parts and equipment up to 25 pounds.</li>
<li>Occasionally lifts objects up to 50 pounds.</li>

<p>Your area of responsibilities will apply to LNG carriers loading, LNG bunkering operations, and, to a larger extent, all marine-related matters of the LNG bunkering project.</p>
<p>Your skills and experience will also identify you as a potential temporary replacement of the marine superintendent in Sohar.</p>
<p>Additionally, you would potentially be able to provide support to the Sohar team regarding logistics entities and warehouse activities, as this will be part of the Sohar marine superintendent's scope.</p>

POSITION SUMMARY The Bioeconomy Officer provides technical and analytical support to the ARISE Program's bioeconomy workstream. The Officer supports the development and implementation of the bioeconomy strategy and roadmap, including assessing bioeconomy potential in Salalah and identifying priority value chains. The officer collaborates with technical experts, government counterparts, and private sector stakeholders to design bankable business models and investment cases.
