<p>The music teacher at Cheltenham Muscat plays a pivotal role in leading and developing a vibrant, inclusive, and high-quality music education programme across the entire school from early years through to sixth form. As a through school, the music teacher is responsible for ensuring continuity and progression in musical learning in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum and the school’s ethos, which is inspired by Cheltenham College UK.</p>

Act as the key contact for Health, Safety, and Environmental matters at the assigned project sites, ensuring compliance with Siemens EHS principles, project requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable local and international regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential EHS risks and non-compliance issues, and define, implement, and monitor appropriate corrective and preventive measures. Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements across the project. Monitor compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety legislation and ensure that relevant requirements are effectively implemented on site. Prepare detailed EHS reports covering inspection findings, audit results, incidents, corrective actions, performance indicators, and overall compliance status. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of EHS performance metrics, incidents, near misses, training, inspections, audits, and regulatory submissions. Ensure that incidents and near misses are properly reported, investigated, documented, and followed up, including root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Monitor the EHS performance of subcontractors and consortium partners, conduct assessments, provide feedback, and escalate significant non-compliance to the EHS Manager and Project Manager. Support the Project Manager and EHS Manager in obtaining and maintaining required EHS permits, authorizations, certificates, and regulatory notifications. Review subcontractor Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Risk Assessments, and Permit to Work (PTW) documentation to ensure compliance with project and EHS requirements. Ensure that EHS requirements and the project EHS plan are clearly communicated to employees, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders. Conduct and record safety meetings, toolbox talks, site inductions, and other EHS communication activities. Develop and maintain the EHS training matrix, identify training needs, and ensure completion of mandatory internal and third-party EHS training requirements. Conduct emergency response drills in accordance with the approved project schedule and support continuous improvement of emergency preparedness. Monitor EHS KPIs and targets, support project audits, and develop corrective action plans to address identified gaps. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , preferably Electrical, Civil, or a related discipline. Omani nationality is required. 3 to 5 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment, preferably within construction, infrastructure, installation, or railway projects. NEBOSH IGC certification, with a Merit pass achieved before 2022. IOSH Managing Safely certification. Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 . Basic or Advanced First Aid certification. Valid Oman/GCC driving license is mandatory. Practical knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems for installation activities in both greenfield and brownfield environments, including online and offline processes. Strong knowledge of incident investigation processes, including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preparation of detailed investigation reports. Good understanding of EHS risk assessment, mitigation measures, and health and safety best practices. Experience in railway projects is considered an advantage. The Senior Associate works closely with the MEL & Data Officer to support how data is collected, stored, processed, and made accessible for program use.</p><p>PURPOSE</p><ul><li>Support the implement and operation of the ARISE Program's Data Collection Mechanism (DCM), contributing to centralized, quality-controlled data repository that serves all three program pillars</li><li>Assist in maintaining data pipelines that ingest field survey data, remote sensing/GIS outputs, GHG emissions data, and socio-economic indicators from multiple sources.</li><li>Support data quality protocols, including validation chekcs, and audit trails to ensure the integrity and traceability of all program data from source to report.</li><li>Assist in developing and maintaining interactive data dashboards and visualizations for the Program Steering Committee (PSC), Program Management Committee (PMC), and M&E reporting requirements.</li><li>Support collaborate with government stakeholders (Environment Authority, NCSI, Oman Zero Carbon Center) to align the DCM with national data standards, MRV frameworks, and the national GHG inventory.</li><li>Coordinate with internal teamsto ensure that data collection, validation, and reporting process are aligned with program requirements</li><li>Support engagement with Omani government stakeholders,including the Environment Authority (EA), methodologies.</li></ul><p>DELIVERY</p><ul><li>Support the setup and ongoing operation of the ARISE Data Collection Mechanism (DCM) , including assisting with data structure organization, , database updates, , and access supports.</li><li>Assist in coordinating data-sharing arrangement with key data-providing institutions (government agencies, research centers, line ministries) to support access to secondary data sources.</li><li>Supporting the maintenance of a centralized data repository that integrates: (a) primary field survey data from KAP studies and ecological assessments, (b) secondary data from government records and national statistics, (c) GIS spatial data layers, (d) GHG emissions data, and (e) socio-economic indicators.</li><li>Support data quality assurance processes, including validation rules, outlier detection, missing data handling, and version control, ensuring that all data entering the repository is documented and traceable.</li><li>Support the development and updating of data dashboards (using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) to provide real-time visibility into program performance indicators for internal and reporting purposes.</li><li>Support the MEL & Data Officer in producing program reports, including Annual End-Of-Year-Results (EOYR) reports, donor progress reports, and impact case studies, by preparing cleaned and organized datasets.</li><li>Maintain document all DCM processes, including data dictionaries, workflow, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support continuity and knowledge transfer.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in data science, statistics, computer science, information management, environmental science, or a related quantitative field.</li><li>Preffered at least 5 years of professional experience in data management, database design, data engineering, or data analysis for international development, climate, or environmental projects.</li></ul><p>FUNCTIONAL</p><ul><li>Experience supporting data collection, validation, organization, and reporting processes within development, climate, or environmental programs is desirable</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (Python, R) and experience with SQL for database querying and management.</li><li>Experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines and working with data integration tools.</li><li>Proven experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and dashboard development.</li><li>Experience working with GIS data and spatial analysis tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, or Python/R spatial libraries) is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
