<p>Provides engineering / technical support on contract processes, by coordinating and executing complex contract formation, award and administration processes and providing a quality service to internal customers in a customer-oriented and commercially advantageous manner; conducting reviews and considering legal aspects of contract award & administration; conducting commercial bids evaluation and tenders and ensuring that costs are controlled; providing advice, guidance and support to the Project team for projects-related contracts including a variety of contracts such as Projects Contracts, EPC, Consultancy Service Contracts, FEED Contracts, Operational, Technical, and Maintenance Contracts and identifying opportunities for optimization, as well as investigating and supporting optimization proposals from other areas, in order to support the safe, reliable, efficient and optimal functioning of the unit s activities at optimum cost.</p><p>The position will act in accordance with the Group s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.</p><p>Main tasks and responsibilities</p><p>Drafts appropriate complex contractual and commercial terms and conditions to best serve and protect the Company s interests. Lead and provide advice to the team on Contract synergies and unify the common ones before start tendering processes.</p><p>Provide thought and advise on development of tender specifications for Projects, EPC, Consultancy Service, FEED, Operational, Technical, etc. Contracts, in line with business expectations, risk perspective and applicable laws.</p><p>Assist in the development of pre and post contracting strategies, plans and tactics in collaboration with end user department.</p><p>Ensures the analysis of complex contract requests from the user departments and determines the appropriate method of procurement.</p><p>Lead the execution and provide thought, advise, insights for full contract cycle from pre-award to post-award and carry out contract management until closeout Including the tender-board approvals.</p><p>Assist in pre-award and post award contract management, including change management, insurance issues, claims mitigation & settlement and contracts close out. This includes escalation of disputes whenever required with support of Legal.</p><p>Provide expertise, transfer knowledge to contract engineers on how to draft complex contracts and commercial terms and conditions to best serve and protect the company interests. <p style="text-align:justify;"><b><span>Job Purpose:</span></b><span>The <span>General Manager - Country Operations</span> is the single accountable leader for all manufacturing and delivery operations within the country, responsible for one or more sites and owning the full Order-to-Cash (OTC) execution spine from order intake through to revenue recognition. The role carries full P&L accountability and disciplinary leadership of all in-country functions — Operations, Supply Chain, QHSE, Project Management, Planning, and Support — ensuring each site operates in full compliance with FPI standards and applicable local regulations, with particular emphasis on Health, Safety and Environment.</span></p>

<li>Conduct regular spot checks on purchasing, receiving, storing, and issuing procedures to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.</li>
<li>Attend banquet functions and operational activities when necessary to maintain stock control and accuracy.</li>
<li>Maintain close working relationships with the Director of F&B, Executive Chef, and all operational departments to improve cost control, menu pricing, and profitability.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Executive Chef to monitor high-cost food items and support the Food & Beverage team in menu pricing and cost optimization.</li>
<li>Support the planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance management of Accounting colleagues.</li>
<li>Supervise, coach, and evaluate Accounting team members, taking appropriate personnel action where required.</li>
<li>Conduct monthly departmental meetings to communicate financial, operational, and company updates.</li>
<li>Assist with forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis as required.</li>
<li>Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and profitability improvement opportunities, and escalate them to management.</li>
<li>Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel policies, accounting regulations, and regional compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Demonstrate high professional integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards, and perform any other duties assigned by the Assistant Director of Finance and/or Director of Finance.</li>
