<p>The Technical Director will support the delivery and growth of the strategic asset management capability across the region. The role will focus on delivering on the Port of Duqm secondment, but also assist with business development and contributing to practice growth. Working closely with senior leadership, the Technical Director will play a key role in delivering client value and strengthening WSP s position in the regional strategic asset management specifications, components and subcomponents, maintenance history, operational performance, lifecycle costs, depreciation and condition assessments.</li><li>Ensure infrastructure, utilities, marine structures and operational equipment are fully documented and traceable.</li><li>Support asset data strategies, enterprise asset management system implementations, analytics and predictive maintenance initiatives.</li></ul><p>Infrastructure and Equipment Oversight</p><ul><li>Oversee the management of the company s asset portfolio, including: Infrastructure and facilities: buildings, operational facilities, electrical substations, power distribution, water supply, firefighting, sewerage, drainage, internal roads and transport infrastructure.</li><li>Marine assets: berths, quay walls, marine structures and port operational equipment.</li><li>Mechanical and operational equipment: cranes, lifting equipment, port service machinery and specialised operational equipment.</li></ul><p>Maintenance, Reliability and Performance</p><ul><li>Develop and implement risk-based, reliability-centred and condition-based maintenance strategies and plans.</li><li>Ensure maintenance practices are preventive, cost-effective and performance-focused, preserving asset integrity and operational reliability.</li><li>Coordinate with the Infrastructure Maintenance and budgets covering infrastructure and equipment.</li><li>Develop five-year asset management plans addressing major maintenance, rehabilitation, replacement forecasts and lifecycle cost projections.</li><li>Develop capital planning frameworks, prioritisation methodologies, total cost of ownership models and lifecycle analyses.</li><li>Support long-term investment and renewal strategies, portfolio optimisation, cost-benefit analysis and investment decision-making.</li><li>Optimise the allocation of financial resources to protect asset value and support service objectives.</li></ul><p>Performance Monitoring and Reporting</p><ul><li>Establish KPIs for asset reliability, availability, condition, maintenance performance and cost efficiency.</li><li>Conduct annual condition assessments, asset verification exercises and performance evaluations.</li><li>Prepare periodic reports for senior management covering asset condition, maintenance performance, preferred</li><li>Minimum 12 15 years of relevant experience in asset management, infrastructure maintenance, or port/industrial facilities.</li><li>At least 7 10 years in a senior leadership role.</li><li>Experience in ports, industrial infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale facilities management is highly desirable.</li><li>In-depth understanding of asset lifecycle management</li><li>Knowledge in Computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS, ERP)</li><li>Strong analytical and reporting skills</li><li>Proficiency in ISO 55000, ISO 50000 International standards (Asset &amp; Energy)</li><li>Project and contract management expertise</li><li>Familiarity with HSE and sustainability practices in asset management</li><li>Excellent leadership,
