In this role, you will be responsible for validating complex data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and verifying end-to-end data flow from various source systems to our enterprise data warehouse and data lake. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Telecom data structures, strong proficiency in Teradata SQL and Informatica PowerCenter, and hands-on experience handling big data environments using Hadoop and Python, NIFI, HIVE etc..</p><p>Mandatory Requirement: This position is based in Oman. Candidates must be fully willing to relocate to Oman.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.</li><li>Database Testing: Write advanced, highly optimized SQL queries in Teradata to perform source-to-target data mapping validation, data integrity checks, and performance testing.</li><li>Big Data Testing: Validate data ingestion and processing within Hadoop ecosystems (Hive, HDFS, or Spark), ensuring seamless data flow between traditional data warehouses and big data platforms.</li><li>Automation & Scripting: Leverage Python to automate repetitive testing tasks, build data reconciliation scripts, and streamline the QA regression suite.</li><li>Telecom Domain Analysis: Apply deep knowledge of telecom data (e.g., CDRs, billing records, network performance data, CRM, provisioning) to analyze business requirements and identify critical data anomalies.</li><li>Defect Management & Collaboration: Track, log, and manage defects using tools like Jira or ALM. Work closely with ETL Developers, Data Architects, and Business Analysts to resolve data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.</li><li>Data Migration & Integration Testing: Verify complex transformations, aggregations, and business logic implementation across multiple data layers.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Overall Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in ETL / Data Warehouse testing.</li><li>Domain Expertise: At least 23 years of experience working within the Telecom domain (OSS/BSS systems, Billing, Mediated data, or Network analytics).</li><li>Technical Skillset</li><ul><li>ETL Tools: Strong hands-on experience testing pipelines built with Informatica PowerCenter (understanding workflows, mappings, and transformations).</li><li>Databases & SQL: Expert-level knowledge of Teradata SQL (stored procedures, macros, joins, indexes, and analytical functions).</li><li>Big Data Ecosystem: Practical exposure to Hadoop environments (querying via Hive/Impala, navigating HDFS).</li><li>Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Python for automated data validation and file processing.</li><li>Methodologies: Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schemas, SCD Type 1/Type 2, Fact and Dimension tables).</li></ul><li>Soft Skills & Tools</li><ul><li>Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business requirements.</li></ul></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)</p><ul><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) for automated testing.</li><li>Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, or Azure) is a plus.</li><li>ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.</li></ul>
<p><h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>Direct and assist stewards in order to make clean up more efficient. Ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and documented. Assist with banquet plate-ups. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed. Provide cooks with needed items. Support banquet and buffet by transporting and ensuring adequate stock. Return cleaned items to proper locations. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.</p>
<p>Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.</p>
