<p><br></p><p><strong>Scope of Position</strong><br>The Duty Technician is responsible for the daily operation of the engineering department and for ensuring that the department is operated in the safest and most efficient manner. The Duty Technician will assume the responsibilities of the Duty Engineer during his absence.</p><p><strong>Departmental:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.</li><li>Comply with all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Standards.</li><li>To be conversant with the Hotel Emergency Procedures.</li><li>Perform Emergency Response Team duties as required.</li><li>Personal presentation will be clean, neat, and tidy always.</li><li>Be courteous, professional, and service orientated when dealing with Guest, Patrons, and Fellow Staff Members.</li><li>Assist Guests, Patrons, and Fellow Staff Members as and when appropriate.</li><li>Undertake specific duties and projects when assigned.</li><li>Activity support Training Programs.</li><li>To carry out work in accordance with The Hotel Planned Maintenance Program.</li><li>Familiarize himself with the technical details of all Plant and Services relating to the Hotel.</li><li>Work shifts as designated.</li><li>Maintain, repair, check and record equipment relating to:<ul><li>Guest Facilities</li><li>Plant Rooms</li><li>Air Conditioning Equipment</li><li>Refrigeration Equipment</li><li>Fire, Life, Health, and Safety</li><li>Electrical and Mechanical Services</li><li>Plumbing and Heating</li><li>Entertainment Equipment</li><li>Kitchens</li><li>Lighting</li><li>Furniture, Fittings and General Equipment</li></ul></li><li>Actively support and assist the Duty Engineer</li></ul><p><br></p>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Responsible for maintenance, repair, and basic MEP work to ensure smooth kitchen operations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Maintain and repair kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, coffee machines)</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns</li><li>Handle electrical (DB, wiring, sockets, breakers), plumbing (water lines, drainage, grease traps), and mechanical/HVAC (FCU) tasks</li><li>Attend breakdown calls, maintain service records, and adhere to safety and hygiene standards</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Diploma/ITI in Electrical or Mechanical field</li><li>3 5 years of relevant experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and MEP systems</li><li>Good troubleshooting skills</li></ul><p>Preferred Experience:</p><ul><li>Experience as a kitchen equipment technician in a five-star hotel</li><li>Experience in canteen or catering company environments</li></ul><p></p></section>
