<p>Coordinating purchasing for the kitchen and stewarding departments with the finance team as per the hotel procedures.</p>
<p>Conduct interviews for candidates in the department in conjunction with Human Resources and prepare job descriptions.</p>
<p>Daily monitoring of the food cost to ensure monthly targets are achieved without undermining the agreed product quality.</p>
<p>Adhere to and monitor departmental operating expenses as per departmental budget and forecast.</p>
<p>Review and monitor departmental work schedules, oversee that departmental payroll is in line with budgets.</p>
<p>Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with the preparation and conversion of department promotions calendar.</p>

The position works closely with department heads to develop and implement operational strategies, ensuring full execution of Marriott brand standards, service excellence, and key brand initiatives.<br>The Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring that all hotel operations meet brand standards, exceed guest expectations, enhance employee engagement, drive revenue growth, and maximize departmental financial performance while maintaining positive owner relations. The role develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver exceptional products and services, providing a strong return on investment.<br>The ideal candidate must possess a strong Food & Beverage background with proven operational leadership experience. Previous resort experience is highly preferred, particularly within luxury or upscale resort environments.
