Technical Services Engineer - Material Planning is responsible for providing
technical and engineering support for the planning, forecasting, and management
of aircraft materials, components, spare parts, and consumables required to
support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. The role ensures that
material requirements are accurately identified based on aircraft maintenance
programs, engineering requirements, fleet utilization, and reliability trends,
while maintaining optimum stock levels and minimizing aircraft downtime.</span><br></p><br><p><span>Duties and
Responsibilities:</span><br></p><br><ul><li><span><span>Plan,
forecast, and ensure the timely availability of aircraft parts, materials,
components, and consumables required to support scheduled and unscheduled
maintenance activities and fleet operational requirements.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Coordinate
with Maintenance Planning, Production Planning, Engineering, Procurement,
Technical Materials, and Stores to identify and establish material requirements
arising from maintenance programs, engineering requirements, modifications, and
operational needs.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Monitor
material availability and inventory levels for assigned material groups,
ensuring optimum stock levels are maintained to support fleet requirements
while minimizing excess and unnecessary inventory.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Review
maintenance work packages, aircraft maintenance programs, engineering
requirements, and upcoming maintenance inputs to forecast material requirements
and ensure required parts and components are available prior to maintenance
commencement.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Support
initial provisioning and re-provisioning activities for assigned material
groups, including Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE), retrofit and modification
programs, work-card materials, and breakdown spares, in accordance with fleet
expansion, utilization, and phase-out plans.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Apply
approved material planning procedures, inventory policies, forecasting methods,
and stocking parameters to establish cost-effective inventory levels and ensure
adequate technical support for the fleet.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Assist in
meeting objectives of supply chain metrics including measurement and control of
AOGs, Robberies, Shortages, SLAs, Surplus, Deferred Defects, Cycle Time,
Backlogs and other KPIs.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Identify,
assess, and escalate critical material shortages, supplier performance issues,
extended lead times, and delivery delays, recommending appropriate corrective
actions to minimize operational and maintenance impact.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Coordinate
with Procurement, Technical Materials, Stores, Maintenance, and Engineering to
resolve material shortages, inventory discrepancies, provisioning issues,
unserviceable and quarantine stock, and other material-related constraints
affecting aircraft maintenance.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Review and
validate material planning parameters, including reorder points, reorder
quantities, supplier lead times, average monthly usage, consumption trends, and
safety stock levels, recommending adjustments based on fleet requirements and
historical demand.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Analyse
slow-moving, non-moving, surplus, and excess inventory and support inventory
optimization initiatives, including stock rationalization, reallocation, vendor
buy-back opportunities, and surplus disposal.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Review
applicable technical documentation, illustrated parts catalogs, component data,
vendor information, and approved technical references to support part-number
relationships, alternate part evaluations, and class-change requests.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Prepare and
coordinate documentation for alternate parts advice and class-change requests,
including drafting applicable forms and compiling the required technical and
supporting documentation for review and approval.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Analyse
aircraft utilization, maintenance requirements, component reliability,
historical consumption, and fleet trends to improve material demand forecasting
and optimize inventory requirements.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Support the
technical evaluation and identification of suitable aircraft materials,
components, and alternate part solutions in coordination with Engineering and
relevant technical departments, ensuring compliance with approved technical and
regulatory requirements.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Participate
in material planning, inventory optimization, cost-reduction, and
continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance material availability, planning
accuracy, inventory efficiency, and overall fleet support.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Provide
technical material planning support during AOG and critical maintenance
situations by identifying material requirements, prioritizing critical parts,
and coordinating with relevant departments to facilitate timely aircraft
recovery.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Maintain
accurate material planning data, forecasts, reports, and records for assigned
material groups and ensure the integrity and accuracy of relevant planning
parameters and inventory information.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Ensure all
material planning activities comply with applicable aviation regulations,
approved maintenance and technical procedures, quality standards, company
policies, and safety requirements.</span><br></span></li><li><span><span>Undertake
any other technical services or material-planning duties related to aircraft

(Warehouse & Logistics, Repair Management, Material Planning, Support &

<p><h4>Principal Accountabilities</h4>
<p>The Bear Base Superintendent manages the storage and maintenance activities for all BEAR order of Battle (BOB) Base and Civil Engineering (CE) equipment. Superintends the receipt, accountability, storage, inspection maintenance tasks, technical order/manuals and commercial manuals for assigned equipment. Directs preparation of stored assets for exercise or actual deployments. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).</p>
<ul>
<li>Performs CSC inspections on containers as needed.</li>
<li>Receives, manages, accounts for stores; inspects and maintains equipment and assets.</li>
<li>Performs visual inspections on newly received and returned deployed assets.</li>
<li>Stocks and maintains parts, tools and supplies to perform required work on assets, requisitioning additional tools and parts as needed.</li>
<li>Responds to inquiries concerning storage and status of assigned equipment.</li>
<li>Performs Temporary Duty (TDY) within the area of operations as required for USAF/Amentum tasking.</li>
<li>Schedules and coordinates with the Work Control all shop work assignments.</li>
<li>Schedules and coordinates with Operations, Production and Supply Managers on production requirements and reviews, analyzes, reconciles production reports each month prior to submitting to Program Support Office (PSO).</li>
<li>Plans, develops and implements procedures for all BOB equipment technical work.</li>
<li>Instructs and trains supervisory personnel in maintenance repair techniques, inspects their work performance, identifies training requirements and documents training records.</li>
<li>Conducts training on quality assurance, safety, Material Safety Data Sheets, security awareness and other subjects in accordance with appropriate plans.</li>
<li>Coordinates the erection, construction and operation of BOB equipment to support real world exercise and contingencies.</li>
<li>Orients new personnel to work crews, planned work assignments and established work methods.</li>
<li>Evaluates employees' work performance, resolves personnel related problems and initiates action to correct substandard performance by personnel and determine logistic support.</li>
<li>Reviews current Technical Orders and provides recommended changes to the Job Plans/Maintenance Action Sheets (MAS) to the Bear Functional.</li>
<li>Researches asset/equipment discrepancies and identifies them to the Bear Functional for coordination with the customer.</li>
<li>Inspects hazardous materials within the assigned work center and coordinates with the appropriate office for the disposal of HAZMAT when required.</li>
<li>Reviews and analyzes production goals weekly.</li>
<li>Reviews Standard Basis Supply System (SBSS) supply documents to verify status of parts.</li>
<li>Submits the Local Purchase (LP) supply documents to procure items such as test and shop equipment, consumables, etc.</li>
<li>Reviews and inventories Organizational Equipment Listing (OEL) and Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL) for the department.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Minimum Requirements</h4>
<ul>
<li>Ability to read, understand and interpret all technical data associated with Civil Engineering and BOB assets and related equipment required.</li>
<li>Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum PowerPoint, Excel and Word programs.</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain CSC Certification.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.</li>
<li>May be required to operate material handling equipment.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Background in mechanical/electrical equipment or facilities maintenance required.</li>
<li>Minimum of five years' experience as a supervisor with US Air Force/Commercial CE equipment and engineering workshop facilities and demonstrated understanding of BOB and Rapid Engineering Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer (RED HORSE) or similar Department of Defense Agencies Contingency Systems required.</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.</li>
<li>Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.</li>
<li>Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting, pushing, pulling minimum of 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally.</li>

<p><h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. Monitor food quality while preparing food. Set up and break down work station. Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles. Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.</p>
<p>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.</p>
<p>Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.</p>
