<h4>Principal safety engineer</h4>
<p>Minimum of 20 years total experience in engineering or consultancy of oil and gas facilities, including a minimum of 15 years’ experience in TSE in onshore oil and gas facilities with demonstrated TSE deliverables development and assurance experience (BP, Shell, PDO projects experience is mandatory).</p>
<ul>
<li>Track record of managing major oil and gas engineering projects as lead safety engineer (CAPEX > 100 million USD) spanning various project life cycle stages such as feasibility, concept, FEED, execute, project to asset transition.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in development and assurance of:</li>
<ul>
<li>HSE philosophy, fire and gas philosophy, F & G cause and effects, F & G layouts, F & G mapping.</li>
<li>FEA/FGDEA, flare radiation and dispersion studies, safety equipment layouts, input to facility layouts/facility siting and layout studies, EPZ calculation, QRA. Experience/conducted studies using Shell FRED, SHEPHERD software and/or other PEM/risk integration software. Formal certification preferred.</li>
<li>Hazardous area classification, critical element identification, performance standards, bow ties.</li>
<li>ALARP (as low as reasonably practicable), design HSE case, operations HSE case, AIPSM (asset integrity-process safety management) and HEMP (hazard and effect management process).</li>
<li>Loss prevention aspects such as fire safety, fire protection design (FW demand, hydraulics, surge, PFDs/P & IDs, etc.), escape and fire fighting design.</li>
<li>Human factors engineering studies experience (valve criticality, HFE screening, etc).</li>
</ul>
<li>Facilitated/led workshops for technical safety, which may include but not be limited to HAZID, HAZOP, bowties, ALARP demonstration, MOPO/SIMOPs workshop, SCE identification workshops, DEM1/DEM2/LFI screenings and demonstrations and other HEMP studies.</li>
<li>Adequate involvement in safeguarding reviews such as design review, HAZOP, IPF, etc.</li>
<li>Involvement in vendor documents evaluations (e.g. technical bid evaluation, datasheets/specifications/MR).</li>
</ul>

The role ensures the reliability, availability, efficiency, and safe operation of generating units, desalination systems, auxiliary equipment, and balance-of-plant assets.</p><p><strong>ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshooting Faulty Machinery: Stay aware of anything unusual, troubleshoot faulty machinery and diagnose the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Mechanical Preventive and Corrective maintenance: performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the power and water plant. This includes inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, fans, heat exchangers, gearboxes, and associated auxiliary systems.</li><li>Contractor Management: Coordinate and supervise contractor personnel performing mechanical maintenance activities within the plant. Inspect completed contractor work to verify compliance with technical specifications, maintenance standards, and plant requirements.</li><li>Collaboration on Complex Mechanical Issues: Ensure maintenance procedures reflect current best practices, OEM recommendations, safety requirements, and plant operational needs.</li><li>SOP & Manual Update and Development: Support the development, review, and periodic update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance procedures, and equipment manuals for mechanical systems and equipment. Ensure SOPs and maintenance documentation are aligned with OEM recommendations, industry best practices, plant requirements, and HSE standards.</li><li>Document Maintenance and Repairs Daily Log: Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately using SAP, Maximo, or other CMMS systems. Prepare maintenance reports and equipment history records. Update equipment inspection checklists and maintenance logs.</li><li>Coaching New Hires: Coach newly hired/Junior Mechanical Technicians and teach them various policies, procedures, and repair techniques.</li><li>Safety Compliance: Comply with all plant safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments. Report hazards, near misses, and incidents promptly.</li><li>Technical Skills: Mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. Pump and compressor maintenance. Turbine auxiliary systems maintenance. Mechanical seal and bearing replacement. Shaft alignment using laser alignment tools. Reading and interpreting P&IDs, engineering drawings, and manuals. Hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance. Knowledge of condition monitoring techniques. <p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer . Key Responsibilities Design, implement, configure, and maintain Cisco ACI and UCS infrastructure. Manage and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabric, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, and policies. Configure and manage Cisco UCS Manager , Fabric Interconnects, server profiles, and connectivity. Implement network security controls across data center environments. Monitor network and security infrastructure for vulnerabilities, threats, and performance issues. Troubleshoot complex ACI, UCS, LAN, VLAN, routing, switching, and connectivity issues. Configure and manage network segmentation and micro-segmentation using Cisco ACI. Integrate ACI with external networks, firewalls, load balancers, and virtualization platforms. Support security incident investigation and remediation related to network infrastructure. Perform vulnerability assessments and implement security hardening measures. Develop and maintain network/security architecture, design documents, SOPs, and operational procedures. Automate infrastructure and security tasks using scripting and network automation tools.
