<p>Role &amp; responsibilities Supervise daily production activities for: o GRP/FRP panel water tanks o SMC electrical enclosures and cabinets Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials to meet production schedules. Monitor production output and ensure on-time delivery. Optimize workflow and minimize production downtime. Coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, and warehouse departments. Supervise the operation of: o Hydraulic compression press machines o SMC molding presses o FRP/GRP fabrication equipment o Trimming, drilling, cutting, and finishing equipment Ensure machines are operated safely and efficiently. Coordinate preventive maintenance and report equipment breakdowns. Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements. Ensure manufactured products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Conduct in-process inspections and final product verification. Monitor dimensional accuracy, surface finish, curing quality, and assembly. Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for quality issues. Reduce defects, rework, and material wastage. Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures. Ensure proper use of PPE by all employees. Maintain safe handling of resins, fiberglass, catalysts, and chemicals. Conduct daily safety inspections. Report accidents, incidents, and near misses. Promote 5S and good housekeeping practices. Supervise production operators, technicians, and helpers. Assign daily work and monitor employee performance. Train new employees on production processes and safety requirements. Conduct toolbox talks and shift meetings. Motivate employees to achieve productivity and quality targets. Monitor raw material consumption. Coordinate material availability with stores and procurement. Control production waste and improve material utilization. Maintain proper storage of SMC sheets, resins, fiberglass, and finished products. Prepare daily production reports. Record machine downtime and maintenance requests. Maintain production, quality, and safety records. Report production performance and issues to management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, efficiency, and downtime. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes. Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives. Recommend process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. Support new product development and process validation.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Must have practical, hands-on experience in at least two of the three areas, and working knowledge of the third GRP / FRP hand lay-up, filament winding, and laminating processes. Acrylic sheet thermoforming, vacuum forming, and resin/fibre glass reinforcement. SMC / DMC compression moulding using hydraulic hot presses. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum 56 years of experience in GRP/FRP manufacturing, preferably in panel water tanks and SMC molded products</p>

<p><h4>Job overview</h4> <p>The chief AGE mechanic supervises, trains AGE technicians and performs inspections, maintenance and servicing and storage of assigned AGE. Maintains and inspects hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems to include turbine, diesel and gasoline driven AGE. Responsible for the day-to-day AGE shop operations and communicates with the AGE superintendent to assure work priorities are met. Accomplishes work in accordance with USAF/Amentum technical data. Ensures compliance with performance work statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS).</p> <h4>Principal accountabilities</h4> <ul> <li>Primary supervisor to train AGE mechanics and perform periodic inspection, maintenance and repair actions on assigned AGE assets.</li> <li>Stocks, maintains and requisitions parts, tools and supplies to perform required work on assets.</li> <li>Prepares AGE/FLSE and other equipment for exercises or actual deployments.</li> <li>Responds to enquiries concerning storage and status of assigned equipment.</li> <li>Utilizes testing of diagnostic equipment while troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, fuel and pneumatic systems and components for serviceability.</li> <li>Prepares and completes documentation including work orders, US Air Force supply and Amentum forms, updates historical data and coordinates actions required with work orders.</li> <li>Directs maintenance by maintenance action sheets, US Air Force technical orders and Amentum directives.</li> <li>Develops standard for subordinates, implements the precept of quality assurance within the guidelines of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard (QMS), ensures that all work is completed to quality standards and provides employees with feedback on their progress.</li> <li>Orients new personnel to work crews, plans work assignments and establishes work methods.</li> <li>Conducts on-the-job training for AGE mechanics on assigned AGE/FLSE, safety, material safety data sheets, security awareness and other subjects.
