<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>JOB PURPOSE: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the highest executive authority in Mazoon Mining Company (MMC), a 2.5 Mtpa copper processing operation with six active open pits and significant exploration upside. The CEO is accountable to the Board of Directors for the overall strategic direction, commercial performance, operational integrity, and organisational development of the Company. The role provides decisive executive leadership to translate the Board's mandate into a high-performing, safe, and sustainable mining business.</p><p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP</p><p>1. Vision & Strategy</p><p>Define and execute the Company's vision, mission, values, and short- and long-term strategic objectives in alignment with the Board's direction. Provide oversight of all strategic initiatives, ensuring operational plans are aligned with approved business plans and shareholder expectations. Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, including expansion of the pit network and exploration programme, to maximise the asset's long-term value.</p><p>2. Board Governance & Reporting</p><p>Serve as the primary executive interface with the Board of Directors, providing regular, accurate, and transparent reports on business performance, risks, and strategic developments. Identify material issues and opportunities; bring appropriate matters to the Board and its committees for deliberation and approval. Ensure all Board resolutions are implemented in a timely and compliant manner.</p><p>OPERATIONAL & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT</p><p>3. Operational Oversight</p><p>Provide oversight of all Company operations including mining, processing (2.5 Mtpa plant), maintenance, HSE, finance, and corporate functions. Oversee the transition from project commissioning and ramp-up through to sustained, nameplate commercial production. Oversee project planning, execution, tender management, and contract administration.</p><p>4. Financial Stewardship</p><p>Approve and manage OPEX and CAPEX in line with Board-sanctioned plans; oversee budgeting, reporting, and audit. Drive revenue generation strategies and establish goals to maximise shareholder value and long-term returns. Ensure prudent financial management including treasury, debt covenants, and lender reporting obligations.</p><p>HSE, STAKEHOLDERS & PEOPLE</p><p>5. HSE & Regulatory Compliance</p><p>Champion a zero-harm culture across all site and corporate activities. Ensure full compliance with all applicable Omani laws, regulations, and international standards governing the mining and processing sector. Maintain all operating licences, environmental permits, and regulatory approvals required for uninterrupted operations.</p><p>6. Stakeholder Management</p><p>Develop and maintain productive relationships with the shareholder (Minerals Development Oman, MDO), government ministries, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, lenders, and media. Maintain open and effective communication with local communities to ensure a positive social licence to operate. Represent MMC at legislative sessions, industry forums, and formal functions.</p><p>7. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.</p><p>Certifications: PMP or equivalent executive management certification preferred.</p><p>Experience: Minimum 15 years in senior management of large-scale mining projects or companies, with a demonstrated track record as CEO or senior executive. Proven experience in strategic planning, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership in the mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry sector. Experience with copper or base-metal operations is an advantage.</p><p></p></section>
<p><h4>Job summary</h4>
<p>The Fuels Manager (FM)/Alternate Site Manager (ASM) provides leadership and guidance to fuels department personnel. Responsible for the overall program management of fuels assets. Manages asset receipts, accountability, serviceability, storage, security, periodic inspections, and deployment. Establishes asset reconstitution production schedules to meet United States Air Forces Central (USAFCENT) requirements. Reviews asset reconstitution production, periodic maintenance, and inventory reports to ensure timely and accurate submissions to USAFCENT A4/RF. Provides guidance on environmental issues as they relate to fuel assets. Responsible for program quality assurance as part of ISO 9000 standards. The ASM portion of the position coordinates and oversees the day-to-day operations, maintenance, personnel, and services at assigned location ensuring quality to the customer as directed by Site Manager.</p>

<li>Primary liaison between Amentum sites and USAFCENT on issues pertaining to fuels.</li>
<li>Oversees reconstitution and preservation plan for fuels based upon requirements and the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including calibration of meters, gauges and tools, functional testing of pumping systems, and hydrostatic testing of fuel hoses.</li>
<li>Tracks fuels deployments, ensuring timely delivery of assets.</li>
<li>Answers inquiries from program management and sites concerning various requests from the USAF and external agencies.</li>
<li>Attends staff meetings and provides management reports and briefings, as required.</li>
<li>Provides assistance, guidance, and coordination on revisions of fuels maintenance actions in response to changes in Air Force publications, technical orders, and the PWS.</li>
<li>Oversees product quality deficiency reports from submission to resolution.</li>
<li>Creates, coordinates, implements, and revises fuels standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training plans, as required.</li>

<li>Handling of purchase orders to ensure that copies of all approved and currently valid purchase orders i.e. purchase requests, market list, standard supply contracts are at hand, and files are maintained for this.</li>
<li>Ensures that all items are physically received, inspected and weighed as necessary. In case of technical items, equipment, furniture, and certain food items, the concerned department is consulted to confirm the quality and specifications. Materials are inspected, and measurements are to be made thoroughly. A visual inspection is not enough.</li>
<li>After inspection, the items are transferred to the department concerned either through the help of the supplier or concerned department collecting from the receiving bay.</li>
<li>The supplier’s invoice is acknowledged by putting the receiving stamp on the original and the supplier’s copy of the invoice, after the checking is completed.</li>
<li>Ensures that the invoice is dated and reference number of the authorization is quoted. Outdated invoices are not accepted, as this may result in problems regarding settlement. If the invoice is outdated, the vendor or his representative is requested to correct it and initial for the correction.</li>
<li>Ensures that items arriving without authorization are not received, but referred to the materials department. Such items should not be kept in the hotel nor the invoice to be acknowledged.</li>
<li>Some items (e.g. milk, bread, etc.) are received during non-working hours. Apart from such items (list to be prepared and approved by management), no other invoices are to be passed for payment without physically receiving the item.</li>
<li>Ensures that invoices for services, such as clearing charges, insurance charges, service contracts for maintenance etc. are acceptable to be included in the receiving report, provided that they are part of the purchase order (insurance and clearing charges for importation) or contract is available. Even in this case, the department head concerned has to initial these invoices to acknowledge the receipt of the service.</li>
<li>After the items are received, a receiving report and summary is prepared. The copy of this report is given to the F&B cost control, with original invoices; with adding machine totals are passed to accounts payable for further processing.</li>
<li>Deliveries with disputes are brought up with materials department to sort out with the vendor, and the department concerned. In case the delivery is accepted only partially, this has to be reflected in writing by the department head concerned, showing the reason with concurrence of materials department. In such cases, a credit note is to be obtained from the supplier. Matters not resolved are to be brought to the attention of the director of finance.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring all items being sent out of the hotel as per the outgoing record policy. Receiving clerk checks that it is properly authorized, and ensures that all vouchers are accounted for. Where necessary, the credit note is to be passed to the accounts for those items, which are invoiced to the hotel, but being returned back.</li>
