<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>CCDS is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team for a one-year, project-based contract in Sohar, Oman .<br> Employment Details: Location: Sohar, Oman Contract Type: One-year project-based contract Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site Key Responsibilities: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.<br> Administer and optimize Palo Alto and Fortinet security products.<br> Monitor network performance, security events, and potential threats.<br> Implement firewall policies, VPNs, routing, switching, and access-control rules.<br> Investigate network and security incidents and provide timely resolutions.<br> Perform system upgrades, security hardening, and configuration reviews.<br> Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational reports.<br> Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and customers to meet service requirements.<br> Mandatory Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.<br> Proven professional experience in network security engineering.<br> Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions .<br> Solid experience with Fortinet technologies.<br> Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, network protocols, and firewall management.<br> Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.<br> Ability to work full-time and on-site in Sohar, Oman .<br> Mandatory Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Fortinet NSE 7</span> </div>
