<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p><b>Position Description</b></p><p>The nanny will be working in the ambassador’s residence and will be responsible for all tasks related to care of the children.&nbsp;The nanny will serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to 3 children all below 5 years old&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><b>Major Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children</li><li>Supervise the children’s activities at all times</li><li>Plan and prepare meals and bottles for, and feed, the children</li><li>Dress the children</li><li>Place the children down for naps and bedtime</li><li>Bathe the children</li><li>Change diapers</li><li>Potty train the children</li><li>Perform housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles</li><li>Teach the children good social manners</li><li>Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors</li><li>Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children</li><li>Take the children to and from nursery or activities&nbsp;</li><li>Traveling abroad with the family when needed</li></ul> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2> <div data-jb-field="skills"><p><b>Job Qualifications and Requirements</b></p><ul><li>High school graduate</li><li>Experience caring for children is a plus&nbsp;</li><li>Training in early childhood education preferred</li><li>First aid training and child and infant CPR is a plus&nbsp;</li><li>driver’s license is a plus</li><li>Authorization to work in Sweden</li><li>Swedish or French proficiency is a plus&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Reliable, honest, and trustworthy</li><li>Physical ability to care for a young child</li><li>Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision</li></ul></div>

<p>Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to pregnant women. Conduct routine antenatal assessments and monitor maternal and fetal well-being. Monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, uterine contractions, and progress of labour. Assist with and manage normal vaginal deliveries according to clinical protocols. Identify high-risk pregnancies and promptly escalate complications to the obstetrician. Provide immediate care to newborns after delivery, including initial assessment and support. Assist with emergency obstetric procedures and management of complications. Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and treatments safely. Provide postnatal care, including monitoring maternal recovery and newborn health. Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, nutrition, hygiene, and postpartum recovery. Support mothers with breastfeeding techniques and early mother baby bonding. Maintain accurate maternal and neonatal records and delivery documentation. Maintain strict infection-prevention and patient-safety standards. Provide emotional support and counselling to mothers and families throughout pregnancy and childbirth. Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.</p>

<p>Provide comprehensive nursing care to women in Labour, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) . Assess and monitor maternal and fetal condition throughout labour. Monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, uterine contractions, and labour progression . Prepare patients for normal delivery, assisted delivery, or emergency procedures as required. Assist obstetricians and midwives during normal and complicated deliveries . Provide continuous support, comfort, and pain-management assistance during labour. Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and other treatments safely. Identify signs of maternal or fetal distress and promptly inform the obstetrician. Assist with emergency obstetric interventions and resuscitation when required. Assist with immediate newborn care and assist with neonatal resuscitation when necessary. Monitor mother and newborn during the immediate post-delivery recovery period . Support breastfeeding initiation and promote early mother baby bonding. Maintain accurate nursing records, delivery notes, and patient documentation. Ensure strict infection-control, aseptic techniques, and patient-safety standards. Prepare and maintain LDR equipment, emergency supplies, and delivery room readiness. Educate mothers and families regarding labour, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care. Coordinate effectively with obstetricians, midwives, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.</p>

<p>To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all guest corridor areas, pantries, offices, and storage. To support colleagues with linen collection and delivery and to ensure that all pantries are set up for an efficient operation. To ensure that guest requests are fulfilled in a professional and timely manner.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Ensures the cleanliness of storage areas, flower office, housekeeping pantries and back of house areas</li><li>Refills all pantries with minibar items, follows the first-in-first-out process and carries out inventory controls</li><li>Ensures that extra beds, baby cots and sofa beds are stored and set up correctly and in accordance with our standards</li><li>Supports the florists in delivering flower arrangements from flower storage to the floors</li><li>Refills and organizes all guest supplies and amenities in the storages and pantries</li><li>Refills the housekeeping pantries and storages with fresh linen</li><li>Responsible for receiving fresh linen and handing over dirty linen to the laundry company</li><li>Supports the laundry, room attendants and public cleaning attendants in peak times</li><li>Ensures a clean, comfortable, well maintained and welcoming environment</li><li>Ensures all equipment and cleaning supplies are used correctly and in accordance with the local regulations</li><li>Undertakes regular deep cleaning duties and inventory controls</li><li>Provides a seamless, efficient and friendly service at all times</li><li>Provides training for new starters, apprentices and trainees</li><li>Handles all guest request to ensure satisfaction</li><li>Complies to the hygiene and safety standards of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group</li><li>Reports technical defects and missing room items</li><li>Collects guests preferences</li><li>Actively reviews processes and voices ideas and suggestions</li><li>Completes department relevant administrative tasks</li><li>Other reasonable tasks may be assigned by the direct manager or a senior manager on duty</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><br></p>
