You will ensure all engineering operations support an exceptional guest experience while promoting safety, sustainability, and cost-effective maintenance.</span></p><br><p><span>A little taste of your day-to-day</span></p><br><ul><li><p><span>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and operational emergencies.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure they meet IHG brand standards.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Monitor the performance of plant and engineering equipment, reporting any defects or major maintenance requirements.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations and hotel policies.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives by promoting efficient use of utilities and resources.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Maintain engineering tools, equipment, and maintenance records accurately.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Work closely with other hotel departments to support daily operations and deliver excellent guest service.</span></p><br></li></ul><p><span>What do we need from you?</span></p><br><ul><li><p><span>Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related Engineering discipline.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance, including at least 2 years of experience in GCC countries.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel engineering systems efficiently.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Service-oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.</span></p><br></li></ul><br>At IHG, we’ve made a promise.
