Maintenance</strong></p><ul><li>Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of mechanical systems including pumps, compressors, tanks, valves, pipelines, and associated static/rotating equipment.</li><li>Supervise all mechanical maintenance and repair activities to ensure they are conducted safely and in line with approved procedures, work instructions, and OEM standards.</li><li>Lead and support troubleshooting of mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns, ensuring timely restoration and minimal production impact.</li><li>Validate and enter all mechanical maintenance activities into the CMMS (SAP/Maximo or equivalent) and ensure proper record keeping.</li><li>Conduct periodic inspections of mechanical facilities to identify issues, deterioration, or nonconformities requiring intervention.</li><li>Supervise and certify equipment alignment, vibration analysis, balancing, and other critical maintenance activities.</li><li>Coordinate with Operations for equipment isolation, handover, and recommissioning to ensure safe execution of maintenance work.</li><li>Attend Daily operation-maintenance coordination meeting, YTT, and other departmental meetings.</li><li>Participate and support in root cause analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.</li><li>Participate in shutdown/turnaround planning and execution, ensuring all mechanical activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget.</li><li>Closely monitor and verify that all work order closures are completed to a high standard, with clear documentation and all required supporting attachments.</li><li>Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve departmental KPIs by tracking performance metrics, analyzing trends, and implementing corrective actions to ensure alignment with operational targets and company objectives.</li></ul><p><strong>Engineering & Project Interface</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Operational phases of terminal facilities.</li><li>Review and comment on mechanical engineering deliverables, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure alignment with operational needs.</li><li>Collaborate in multi-disciplinary design reviews to improve reliability, maintainability, and operability of new and existing systems.</li><li>Ensure mechanical designs comply with ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant international codes.</li><li>Monitor project site activities for progress, quality, and HSE compliance.</li><li>Participate in commissioning, testing, and performance verification of new installations or modifications.</li></ul><p><strong>Team & Contractor Supervision</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and coordinate work of maintenance technicians, contractors, and third-party service providers performing mechanical works.</li><li>Provide technical to preparation of the mechanical maintenance budget and ensure compliance with approved cost controls.</li><li>Resourcing of spares, suppliers, and service providers where necessary to enhance and support maintenance activities.</li><li>Identify and manage both critical and non-critical spare parts requirements, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with the warehouse/procurement to ensure availability.</li><li>Monitor and control maintenance expenditures and support cost optimization initiatives under ETIZAAN and other improvement programs.</li><li>Participate in annual budget reviews and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and reliability improvements.</li></ul><p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li>Identify and report deviations in performance, equipment behavior, or process efficiency.</li><li>Develop and implement action plans for maintenance improvement, cost reduction, and reliability enhancement.</li><li>Liaise with OEMs, Engineering, sectors.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in rotating equipment, mechanical seals, alignment, piping systems, and static equipment (tanks, pressure vessels, exchangers).</li><li>Proven track record in supervision of EPC and maintenance contractors during shutdowns and major overhauls.</li><li>Strong exposure to mechanical integrity programs, inspection schedules, and reliability <p>Electrical Maintenance: Carry out required daily electrical maintenance work and routine preventative electrical maintenance work according to set schedule and ACWA NOMAC procedures to facilitate continuous operations. Monitor the physical condition of all equipment in assigned plant and report non-conformances to Electrical Engineer / Electrical Supervisor to facilitate effective maintenance of all ACWA NOMAC facilities as per set Quality/ HSE standards. Respond to electrical failures and implement corrective actions in adherence with procedures and guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment. Trouble shoot using necessary tools which include diagnosis, repairing and testing circuit or wiring faults; locating faults in cables to validate that all connection points and cables are capable of withstanding capacity voltages. Diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment such as transformers, motors, relays, switches and control and monitoring devices and take corrective measures in collaboration with Electrical Engineer / Electrical Supervisor. Read and understand technical manuals, wiring diagrams etc., and apply the knowledge to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, to prepare for the electrical maintenance to equipment in the assigned area. Align, adjust and calibrate equipment according to specifications and to maintain records of repairs, calibrations and tests Documentation : Update the maintenance logbook and record details of work carried out including defaults, problems, various findings and conditions of all equipment to ensure timely availability of information and organised referencing. Continuous Improvement : Contribute in the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the organisation s standards. The role ensures that all metal components, plates, and structural parts are joined accurately and securely in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and measurement requirements. The Welder must comply with established quality control procedures and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations within ADC, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within the assigned project timelines KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Follow the daily welding chart specifications for metal sheets of PS repair/ conversion or new development laid out by the PS Supervisor in order to ensure the welding work complies with the specifications provided by the PS Engineer and the activities are completed as per timelines, quality, health and safety standards of ADC. Other jobs which will be assigned at the discretion of the Line Manager shall be attended too. Welding/ Fitting Activities Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding, using straightedges, combination squares, callipers, and rulers in order to ensure the welding activities are accurate and as per the requirements and specifications. Weld/ Fit components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions by igniting torches or starting power supplies and striking arcs by touching electrodes to metals such as aluminium, stainless steel and cast iron being welded, completing the electrical circuits to facilitate the joining of the multiple work pieces together and to ensure compliance with health and safety standards of ADC. Welding/ Fitting Equipment Operations Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment in order to ensure safety and well-being of the workers working in that environment. Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals in order to ensure that there is minimum wastage of materials and its effective utilisation. Welding/ Fitting Conditions Connect and turn regulator valves in order to activate and adjust gas flow and pressure so that desired flames are obtained for conducting welding/ fitting activities. Monitoring Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Quality Control Ensure adherence to and maintenance of the quality of welding/ fitting activities in order to enable the successful welding and formation of the hull as per specifications. Material Requirements and Use Coordinate with the PS Supervisor if and when required in order to ensure that materials/ equipment/ spare part requirements are provided timely and accurately to complete job requirements. Maintain the stock of consumables and spares to enable proactive replenishment of raw materials/ equipment has/ spare parts required for welding/ fitting activities. Preparing Reports Prepare daily reports on progress, heating time, temperatures, equipment s used etc. for welding/ fitting activities in the PS department in order to keep the PS Foreman aware of the progress and ensure the work is completed as per the schedule.
