With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.</p><br><br> Context <br><p><span>The role will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising all MEP and power-related engineering activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, railway standards, safety regulations, quality expectations, and project schedules</span></p><br><br> Missions/Main Duties <br><ul><li>Review and monitor the design, installation, and commissioning of&nbsp;<em><span>MEP and power systems</span></em>for railway stations, depots, operation control buildings, maintenance facilities, and associated infrastructure.</li><li>Ensure contractor works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, safety rules, and relevant railway and building standards.</li><li>Review and provide technical comments on design documents, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and testing and commissioning procedures.</li><li>Supervise and monitor site execution of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, fire protection, lighting, earthing, and power distribution works.</li><li>Coordinate interfaces between MEP systems and other railway systems, including civil works, architectural finishes, trackwork’s, signaling, telecommunications, and operational systems.</li><li>Verify electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, cable routing, grounding systems, backup power arrangements, and power distribution layouts.</li><li>Support review of substation, switchgear, transformers, LV panels, emergency power, UPS, and related power infrastructure interfacing with station and building systems.</li><li>Monitor construction quality and ensure installations meet approved quality plans, inspection test plans, and project standards.</li><li>Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, defect tracking, and final handover processes</li><li>Identify technical risks, construction issues, and interface conflicts, and recommend practical corrective actions.</li><li>Prepare progress reports, technical observations, non-conformance comments, and engineering review notes for PMC and client management.</li><li>Coordinate with the client, contractors, designers, authorities, operators, and other stakeholders to support timely decision-making and issue resolution.</li><li>Ensure compliance with&nbsp;health, safety, environmental,&nbsp;and&nbsp;railway operational safety&nbsp;requirements throughout project delivery.</li><li>Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and optimization initiatives where appropriate.</li></ul> Profile/Skills <br><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in&nbsp;Electrical Engineering,&nbsp;Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. <p><h4>Job overview</h4> <p>The chief AGE mechanic supervises, trains AGE technicians and performs inspections, maintenance and servicing and storage of assigned AGE. Maintains and inspects hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems to include turbine, diesel and gasoline driven AGE. Responsible for the day-to-day AGE shop operations and communicates with the AGE superintendent to assure work priorities are met. Accomplishes work in accordance with USAF/Amentum technical data.
