<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The Senior Renewable & ESS Engineer is responsible for providing specialized technical support for the integration, operational planning, and performance monitoring of Variable Renewable Energy (VRE) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) within the OETC transmission network. The role supports the development and implementation of dispatch strategies for solar, wind, and battery assets to enhance grid stability, improve renewable energy utilization, and reduce operational constraints. The Senior Engineer analyzes renewable generation forecasts, monitors Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) State-of-Charge (SoC) and performance indicators, and supports the verification of Inverter-Based Resources (IBR) compliance with the technical requirements of the Grid Code and Transmission Security Standards.</p><p>Support the daily integration and scheduling of renewable energy resources by performing technical analysis to optimize dispatch and minimize curtailment. Analyze and support the operational strategy for Energy Storage Systems (ESS/BESS), including charging and discharging cycles for peak shaving, frequency response, and system reliability requirements. Assess the performance of forecasting tools for solar and wind generation and recommend improvements to reduce system imbalances. Review Inverter-Based Resource (IBR) technical performance and support compliance verification against Grid Code requirements for fault ride-through, voltage control, and frequency support. <p>The F-16 C/D Electrical and Environmental (E&E) Specialist fabricates, maintains, and tests electronic systems and components. Adjusts, repairs, and when necessary, modifies systems and components, and replaces malfunctioning equipment as needed. May be responsible for requirements analysis, systems analysis, performance analysis, and independent test and acceptance of system components.</p>
<h4>Duties & responsibilities:</h4>

<li>Performs and supervises aircraft electrical and environmental (E&E) functions and activities performing as an experienced 5 Level Journeyman or 7 Level Craftsman.</li>
<li>Troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and operates aircraft E&E systems, components, and associated support equipment.</li>
<li>Uses technical data, wiring diagrams, ohm meters, electronic measuring equipment, GSE and special tools. Expert level in accomplishing and training of wire repair procedures.</li>

<p>The facilities maintenance clerk performs all technical support, administrative tasks and duties as required supporting the operations of the Amentum facilities maintenance staff. Responsible for PSO headquarters and GPMS sites' facilities special initiatives and preventive maintenance program, implementation of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and coordinating activities. Manages scheduling and tracking of work orders from initiation through completion. Updates, reviews, annotates and files all related historical records and assists facilities maintenance staff in submission of required reports. Ensures compliance with performance work statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS).</p>
