<p><b>The successful candidate is expected to:</b></p><p>Teach Modules: Deliver modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in core Chemical Engineering areas including Process Design, Separation Processes, Reaction Engineering, Thermodynamics, Fluid and Heat Transfer, and Process Simulation. <p>We are hiring an Operations Lead to design the operational function from a blank sheet in Build, and then operate it in Run. Issuers, primary dealers, custodians, settlement banks, and investors will depend on this platform to do what it says it will do, on time, every time, without exception. The Operations Lead is the person accountable for making that happen day after day once the platform is live.</p>

<p>We are hiring an Operations Lead to design the operational function from a blank sheet in Build, and then operate it in Run. Issuers, primary dealers, custodians, settlement banks, and investors will depend on this platform to do what it says it will do, on time, every time, without exception. The Operations Lead is the person accountable for making that happen day after day once the platform is live.</p>
<p>Scope is all operational activity except controls. Reconciliations, regulatory reporting, client money compliance, and data governance sit with the Head of Operations Control. Everything else operational sits here.</p>

<li>At least 10 years in securities operations, custody operations, settlement operations, or financial market infrastructure operations. Direct, demonstrable experience operating securities settlement and registry processes at scale: this is non-negotiable.</li>
<li>Direct, hands-on experience of corporate actions operations across a range of event types.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience designing or significantly redesigning an operational function, including procedures, runbooks, team structure, and training, rather than only operating one inherited from elsewhere.</li>
<li>Track record of operating under regulatory expectations for an FMI or a securities-services business.</li>
<li>Experience managing operational relationships with custodians, settlement banks, and exchange or CSD counterparties.</li>

<ul><li><p>Assist the HR Manager with daily HR operations and administrative activities.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR records.</p></li><li><p>Monitor attendance, timesheets, leave, overtime, and absences.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and consolidate monthly HR data and payroll inputs for HR Manager review.</p></li><li><p>Assist with recruitment, including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination.</p></li><li><p>Support employee onboarding and joining formalities.</p></li><li><p>Prepare draft offer letters, employment contracts, certificates, letters, and other HR documents for HR Manager review.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and monitor employee document expiry dates, including IDs, visas, medicals, licenses, and contracts.</p></li><li><p>Maintain employee leave, ticket, transfer, resignation, and clearance records.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Project Engineers and site teams regarding employee and manpower information.</p></li><li><p>Update HR trackers and prepare periodic reports for the HR Manager.</p></li><li><p>Assist with employee queries and escalate matters requiring management attention to the HR Manager.</p></li><li><p>Support the HR Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies and Oman Labour Law.</p></li><li><p>Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by the HR Manager.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.</p></li><li><p><strong>2–4 years of relevant HR experience</strong>, preferably in Oman.</p></li><li><p>Experience in contracting, construction, electrical, or project-based companies is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Basic knowledge of Oman Labour Law and HR procedures.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.</p></li><li><p>Good written and spoken English.</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work with employees across multiple projects and locations.</p></li><li><p>Candidates currently available in Oman and able to join on short notice are preferred.</p></li></ul>
