The inspector acts as a key interface between EPC contractors, consultants, and the client to ensure timely and accurate execution of the project.</p><p>Inspection &amp; Supervision</p><ul><li>Inspect installation of all I&amp;C systems including transmitters, analyzers, sensors, control valves, actuators, DCS/PLC systems, vibration systems, and gas turbine instrumentation.</li><li>Supervise field instrumentation works such as cable tray installation, routing, glanding and termination, loop checks, impulse tubing, junction box installation, etc.</li><li>Review and approve contractor ITPs, method statements, and material inspection reports.</li><li>Monitor installation of control panels, marshalling cabinets, and local control units.</li></ul><p>Testing &amp; Commissioning</p><ul><li>Witness and verify calibration of field instruments.</li><li>Review loop check sheets, cause &amp; effect verification, function tests, and signal integrity tests.</li><li>Participate in pre commissioning and commissioning of control systems (DCS, PLC, ESD, and turbine control systems).</li><li>Ensure proper integration between Gas Turbine Control System (GTCS), HRSG control, and plant DCS.</li></ul><p>Quality Assurance &amp; Documentation</p><ul><li>Ensure all I&amp;C works comply with project specifications, P&amp;IDs, wiring diagrams, hook up drawings, and vendor documents.</li><li>Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, and follow-up for closure.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation for QA/QC audits and handover packages.</li></ul><p>Coordination &amp; Interface Management</p><ul><li>Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, and construction teams.</li><li>Participate in site progress meetings and provide technical input for I&amp;C issues.</li><li>Ensure proper interface with mechanical, electrical, civil, and commissioning teams.</li></ul><p>Health, Safety, and Compliance</p><ul><li>Ensure all site I&amp;C activities adhere to Oman HSE standards and project safety regulations.</li><li>Report unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented.</li></ul><p>Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all. Apply today.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Required Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Instrumentation &amp; Control Engineering / Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 10 years experience in I&amp;C inspection roles for power plant projects. Strong experience in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) or large industrial plants. Familiarity with international standards (IEC, ISA, API, NFPA, ISO). Hands-on experience with DCS/PLC systems (Siemens, GE, Mitsubishi, ABB, Emerson, etc.). Strong understanding of P&amp;IDs, loop diagrams, block diagrams, wiring drawings. Preferred Experience with OEM gas turbines (GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi). QA/QC certification (e.g., ISO 9001 , CSWIP , or equivalent).
