<h4>Job purpose</h4>
<p>The PCC Telecom Engineer is responsible for executing, coordinating, and supporting all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to the telecommunications systems of a large-scale oil & gas / LNG facility. The role ensures that telecom systems are installed, tested, commissioned, and handed over safely and in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and applicable codes.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<p><strong>Pre-commissioning phase</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Review and understand telecom engineering documents, including specifications, drawings, data sheets, method statements, commissioning procedures, and vendor documentation.</li>
<li>Participate in system walkdowns, punch listing, and verification of installation completeness for telecom systems.</li>
<li>Verify correctness of installation for telecom equipment, cabling, fiber optic systems, racks, cabinets, and interfaces.</li>
<li>Support preparation and updating of pre-commissioning and commissioning test packs.</li>
<li>Ensure all telecom systems are mechanically complete and ready for commissioning activities.</li>
<li>Coordinate with construction, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical queries and punch items.</li>

<p><strong>Commissioning & start-up</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Execute and supervise commissioning activities for telecom systems, including functional testing, integration testing, and system validation.</li>
<li>Perform system tests such as loop checks, signal verification, end-to-end testing, and redundancy checks.</li>
<li>Interface with vendors, subcontractors, and other discipline engineers during commissioning activities.</li>
<li>Support energization, SAT (Site Acceptance Tests), and system integration with ICSS, safety, and IT networks.</li>
<li>Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve telecom-related issues during commissioning and start-up.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing systems for Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) and operational handover.</li>

Keeps airplane in safe working condition by servicing engines, engine components, and airframe components. Performs routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of all electro-mechanical systems and components on the aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance. Responsible for all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft.</p>

The role ensures that all metal components, plates, and structural parts are joined accurately and securely in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and measurement requirements. The Welder must comply with established quality control procedures and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations within ADC, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within the assigned project timelines KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Follow the daily welding chart specifications for metal sheets of PS repair/ conversion or new development laid out by the PS Supervisor in order to ensure the welding work complies with the specifications provided by the PS Engineer and the activities are completed as per timelines, quality, health and safety standards of ADC. Other jobs which will be assigned at the discretion of the Line Manager shall be attended too. Welding/ Fitting Activities Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding, using straightedges, combination squares, callipers, and rulers in order to ensure the welding activities are accurate and as per the requirements and specifications. Weld/ Fit components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions by igniting torches or starting power supplies and striking arcs by touching electrodes to metals such as aluminium, stainless steel and cast iron being welded, completing the electrical circuits to facilitate the joining of the multiple work pieces together and to ensure compliance with health and safety standards of ADC. Welding/ Fitting Equipment Operations Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment in order to ensure safety and well-being of the workers working in that environment. Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals in order to ensure that there is minimum wastage of materials and its effective utilisation. Welding/ Fitting Conditions Connect and turn regulator valves in order to activate and adjust gas flow and pressure so that desired flames are obtained for conducting welding/ fitting activities. Monitoring Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Quality Control Ensure adherence to and maintenance of the quality of welding/ fitting activities in order to enable the successful welding and formation of the hull as per specifications. Material Requirements and Use Coordinate with the PS Supervisor if and when required in order to ensure that materials/ equipment/ spare part requirements are provided timely and accurately to complete job requirements. The role drives manufacturing excellence by maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), optimizing raw fish yield, improving labour productivity, reducing unit production costs, minimizing waste, ensuring accurate inventory control, and achieving production targets while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards. The position will report to the Operations Director Key Responsibilities: - Production Leadership Lead daily production of canned tuna and sardines to achieve safety, quality, output and cost objectives. Deliver the production plan in coordination with Planning, Supply Chain and Maintenance. Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP and regulatory requirements. - Yield Optimisation Maximise fish recovery and edible yield throughout thawing, cleaning, cooking, loining, filling and packing. Monitor yield losses by process step and implement corrective actions. Benchmark yield against international seafood manufacturing best practice. - Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Improve OEE through higher availability, performance and quality. Reduce downtime, changeover losses, micro-stoppages and speed losses. Work with Maintenance to implement TPM and preventive maintenance. - Labour Productivity Improve worker efficiency through line balancing, work measurement and standard operating procedures. Develop productivity KPIs and incentive programmes. Optimise manpower utilisation while maintaining safety and quality. - Material Optimisation Optimise consumption of fish, oil, brine, sauces and other additives. Reduce consumption of cans, lids, cartons, labels, shrink film and pallets. Minimise giveaway, damage, scrap and rework. - Cost Management Drive continuous reduction in manufacturing cost per case and cost per tonne. Identify productivity and waste reduction projects. Prepare weekly and monthly production cost reports with variance analysis. - Inventory Management Maintain accurate WIP, packaging and finished goods inventory.
