<p> Provide technical expertise to LDC, AMP and Strategic Planning and Project Departments.</p>
<p> Fault analysis after tripping occurrences and rectifying to re energize</p>
<p> Ensure protective relays function promptly at the time of fault conditions with proper coordination</p>
<p> Checking the relays setting calculations, equipment design calculations and the fault level calculations</p>
<p> Contribution towards the preparation of Protection and Metering budget, price control and tender documents</p>
<p> Attending regular inter departmental meetings for troubleshooting, shut down and commissioning</p>
<p> Ensuring 100% availability of spare devices, testing equipment s, relevant documents and testing reports</p>
<p> Supporting and implementation of new protection and metering policy and procedures</p>
<p> Coordination with the system studies unit in study of any expansion of the protection and metering system of the company</p>

<p> <strong>Education: </strong> </p>
<p> Bachelor s degree in mining engineering and/or a related technical discipline (e.g. geology, metallurgy, mineral processing). A postgraduate qualification or MBA will be an added advantage.</p>
<p> <strong>Experience:</strong> </p>
<p> Minimum 10 years overall experience across mining studies and projects, spanning multiple commodities including base and precious metals, chromite, and industrial minerals (dolomite, gypsum, silica, limestone), with several years in a study management or technical lead capacity</p>
<p> Initiating, leading and delivering technical studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility) through formal stage-gate processes</p>
<p> Managing multidisciplinary study teams and external consultants from concept through to feasibility and execution</p>
<p> Directing mine design, LOM planning and scheduling for both open pit and underground projects</p>
