<p><p>The vehicle inspector inspects all vehicle repairs to ensure maintenance is performed to the highest standard. Responsible for daily quality control of all vehicle repairs performed by the work center. Complies with all applicable USAF Technical Order (TO) requirements. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).</p>
<h4>Principal accountabilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Inspects all vehicle repairs to ensure quality control is maintained to the highest level.</li>
<li>Monitors quality of work performed by technicians and documents rejected vehicle repairs.</li>
<li>Ensures safety practices and housekeeping guidelines are maintained to the highest standard.</li>

<li>Conducts limited technical inspections (LTI's) on assigned vehicles and ensures inspections are performed within prescribed guidelines, determining the causes of malfunctions, extent of repairs required, parts required and cost of repair.</li>
<li>Assists with on-the-job training of new mechanics; provides knowledge, expertise and training to mechanics; provides task certification for mechanics in training and certifies periodic training.</li>
<li>Assists mechanics with repairs or replacement of parts and assemblies, realignment and adjustment systems including manual and automatic transmissions, steering and braking systems, clutches, fluid flywheels and torque converters, axle hubs and bearings, fuel air and cooling systems, suspension and body work.</li>
<li>Assists mechanics with troubleshooting and calibrating vehicle systems using diagrams, manuals, special tools, meters and test equipment.</li>
<li>Checks completeness and accuracy of maintenance forms such as work orders, parts requests and maintenance sheets; records data such as hours worked, work performed, speedometer/hour meter readings, parts used.</li>
<li>Ensures all tools, personal protective equipment and clothing issued remain safe, secure and serviceable reporting any deficiencies.</li>
<li>Assists with parts research by means of the commercial manuals, technical orders and parts manuals; checks all parts research to ensure accuracy and that only required repair parts are ordered.</li>
<li>Inspects vehicles after preparation of USAF vehicle assets for air/land/sea movement.</li>
<li>Ensures all hazardous materials are handled, stored and disposed of in accordance with Amentum Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and host nation rules.</li>
<li>Ensures that only current up-to-date technical orders and commercial manuals are used when repairing vehicles or assisting in repairs.</li>
<li>Uses quality database to enter and maintain all inspections required by SOP, WI's and all PWs publications.</li>
<li>Reports any discrepancies in shop first aid kits, fire extinguishers and eyewash stations.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Works in maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.</li>

<h4>Minimum requirements</h4>
<ul>
<li>Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.</li>
<li>Will be required to operate material handling equipment and light to heavy military type vehicles.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Four years' experience in vehicle repair required with three years on USAF equipment required.</li>
<li>Two years' experience in a quality control capacity and the ability to mentor individuals on a corrective action plan.</li>
<li>Will be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.</li>
<li>Will be required to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.</li>

<p>Supervise the execution of the safe & efficient well drilling activities during assigned shift for the development, appraisal and exploration wells, and support the drilling engineers for any operational challenges/trainings and any other technical support.</p><p>The position will act in accordance with the Group s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.</p><p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>HSE Roles & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide technical input during any HSE Emergency incident or Well control event arising from Well Engineering activities.</li><li>Responsible for the implementation of Well Delivery HSSE annual plan and ensure all units under Well Delivery operate 'at all time' in compliance with OQ HSSE requirements.</li><li>Assist in the close-out HSE actions resulting from Audit or incident investigations.</li><li>Actively contribute to all high potential HSE incidents investigations including participation in the investigation team while ensuring OQ investigation process is followed and all required reports completed on time.</li><li>When required, act as Well Delivery representative as per the Emergency Response Plan.</li><li>Ensure to Work safely and think proactively about personal safety and safety of others at work</li><li>Actively participate in, contribute to, and promote company occupational health, safety, security and environment culture.</li><li>Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company HSE and Security policies and procedures and meet company HSE goals and targets, and participate in HSE programs.</li></ul><p><strong>Operations Roles & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Execute the assigned work instructions for drilling and service in all aspects of daily drilling and completion activities including (but not limited to); drilling operations, casing operations, cementing operations, well integrity assurance, petrophysical data acquisition, geological data acquisition, fluid systems management, remedial operations and completion operations to ensure compliance with OQ programs. In doing so, the roles may include but are not limited to:</li><li>Select ion of tools for bottom hole assemblies to identify an optimum configuration that optimizes performance of the tools string and job objective;</li><li>Monitor operation of equipment controls to ensure pipe movement in and/or out of the well does not compromise well control</li><li>Strong understanding of down-hole conditions: such as</li><li>Problems associated with the drilling, due to the disturbances of earth stresses around the borehole, caused by the creation of the hole itself and by drilling mud/formation interaction).</li><li>Open/sable hole by maintaining a balance between earth stresses and pore pressure on one side and well bore mud pressure and chemical composition on the other side (pressure and temperature reduce constantly, and the solubility of elemental sulfur in natural gas decreases continuously)</li><li>Perform field calculations to cementation jobs.</li><li>Supervise all rig up and rig downs on location including unit transit between locations to ensure HSE is not compromised.</li><li>Execute the assigned Drilling task for the Unit(s) and ensure are tested, maintained and operated within their envelope and as per OQ/OEM requirements.</li><li>Provide a detailed post-well operational performance review report.</li><li>Liaise with Senior Drilling Engineer on requirements for operation optimization or remedial work and formulates revised work instructions in accordance with OQ change management requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Key interactions</strong></p><p>Internal: Development/Exploration Departments / Central Operations and Facilities Departments / Supply Chain Management Department.</p><p>External: Contractors & Service Providers</p><p><strong>Notable Working Conditions.</strong> Field Operational environment, computer screen use. Key Accountabilities: Mentors and coaches software engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, design reviews, and continuous professional development. Drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize software architecture, development processes, automation, operational efficiency, and technology practices. Maintains technical documentation, development standards, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories to support sustainable application lifecycle management. Ensures compliance with the Bank's technology policies, information security standards, regulatory requirements, and software engineering governance frameworks. Performs any other responsibilities consistent with the scope of the role, as assigned by the line manager.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience may be considered. Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including experience designing, developing, and supporting production-grade applications and services. Demonstrated experience delivering scalable enterprise software solutions across the full software development lifecycle. Strong experience with one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, Dart, or similar technologies. Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed applications, and modern software architecture. Experience with relational databases, data modelling, API integration, application performance optimization, and cloud-native application development. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, containerization technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of software engineering best practices including version control, automated testing, secure coding, code reviews, and release management. Experience developing or supporting Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, or intelligent automation solutions is preferred.</p>
