<p>The PCC Telecom Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and executing all telecom-related pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for a large industrial energy project. The role ensures that telecom systems are installed, tested, integrated, and commissioned in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and contractual requirements in preparation for start-up and handover to operations.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<p><strong>Pre-commissioning & commissioning execution</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise all telecom pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including system installation checks, functional testing, loop checks, and final integration.</li>
<li>Ensure telecom systems are ready for energization, start-up, and operational handover.</li>
<li>Coordinate telecom activities with commissioning teams, construction, instrumentation, electrical, and control systems disciplines.</li>
<li>Validate readiness of telecom systems including documentation, punch lists, and mechanical completion dossiers.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Telecom systems scope</strong></p>

<li>Telephone and intercom systems</li>
<li>Telecom cabinets, racks, and field devices</li>

<p><strong>Testing & documentation</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Review and approve method statements, test procedures, and commissioning check sheets.</li>
<li>Execute and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning tests.</li>
<li>Ensure proper recording of test results, red-line drawings, and as-built documentation.</li>
<li>Manage punch lists, ensure timely close-out, and support system handover to operations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Safety & compliance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Enforce strict compliance with HSE rules, permit-to-work systems, and site safety procedures.</li>
<li>Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe execution of all telecom commissioning activities.</li>
<li>Ensure telecom installations meet relevant international standards and project specifications.</li>

<li>Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum 8–12 years of experience in telecom systems within oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or large industrial projects.</li>
<li>At least 3–5 years in a supervisory role focused on pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.</li>
<li>Proven experience working on major EPC projects during the commissioning phase.</li>

representatives in order to technically explain, clarify and agree with all parties involved the requirements and specification for the purpose of the Project</p><p>Technical Advice and Troubleshooting</p><p>Provide technical advice to the Project in-charge Engineers, from issuance of job order to completion of the repair work to support them in achieving their jobs within the budget.</p><p>Provide technical advice and support to the internal departments giving feedback and recommendations on the work summary report, or project status, in order to ensure completion of the project activities on time and as per client/contract requirements.</p><p>Client Interaction</p><p>Review the expenditure and cost, budgets and MH utilization in the department in order to ensure the cost does not exceed the established budget for the department.</p><p>Resources Control and Allocation</p><p>Coordinate with the clients to get all queries / clarifications resolved before the start of job, or during the project, in order to ensure all requirements are clearly understood by various Production departments and reduce the amount of rework required at later stages.</p><p>Communicate the Client s responses, or specifications, to the respective departments in ODC in order to ensure clear communication protocols</p><p>To implement a comprehensive document management system in accordance with Client s requirement of the Project.</p><p>Progress Updates and Documentation</p><p>Ensure that all Project Manager activities findings and updates are reported to the Department format so that critical events and potential delays are timely and accurately communicated for prompt action, thus minimizing impact on overall schedules.</p><p>Ensure that any additions or cancellation of work as per the original agreed scope according to the standard format, technically correct and can be carried out.</p><p>Review, manage and ensure the development and issuance of relevant department documentation, progress, challenges and issues faced in order to ensure timely and accurate availability for any future reference and to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.</p><p>Collaboration</p><p>Collaborate with the Commercial division (Marketing, Estimation) on a regular basis as instructed by the DH/TL in order to achieve targets of the project and its timely completion.</p><p>Collaborate with all Production departments for complex works or in case there are conflicts between departments in order to ensure efficient operations of the project and continuation as per client/contract requirements and project timelines.</p><p>Coordinate on a regular basis with the Agent / Client / Master of the Vessel (or other projects) as instructed by the DH/TL in order to get an update on the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)(in case for repair) of the project and coordinate for such internally as well as externally for smooth arrival of
