Fluent spoken and written English and PC literate. Shall have Knowledge in Ex requirements. Shall be thoroughly familiar with electrical design packages, construction activities, materials of construction, construction methods and international standards for electrical design. Shall demonstrate hands on experience in testing of electrical equipment installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning, SAT/ Pre-commissioning of Switchgears, Transformers, Motors, Generators, cable laying, jointing and termination activities Shall be thoroughly familiar with Overhead line (OHL) activities shall fulfil requirements listed above and additional requirements as below Shall be skilled with the good construction practice in OHL material and construction, familiar/ Expertise with Material Inspection of OHL materials and Accessories, related Inspection and testing, Cable jointing, Termination, Hi potential Electrical Test, Root cause analysis. Implement QA/QC activities including those of sub-suppliers works in accordance with approved ITPs and procedures, method statements and other Contract documents. Prepare and sign-off applicable records for quality surveillance/ inspections/ tests. Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment. Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable work documents. Reporting directly to the ARISE Program Lead with a secondary reporting line to the Head of Comm in HQ, this position spearheads the planning, coordination, and execution of all communications, territorial marketing, and stakeholder engagement activities for the program. The role ensures the successful implementation of the ARISE Communications and Territorial Marketing Strategy, manages local media relations, produces high-quality bilingual communications assets, and leads community awareness campaigns, including the BICAB community outreach initiative, to foster public awareness and stakeholder buy-in.</p><p>PURPOSE</p><ul><li>Spearhead the development and implementation of the ARISE Communications and Territorial Marketing Strategy, ensuring alignment with program objectives , GGGI s global brand standards and enhance local visibility</li><li>Lead territorial marketing efforts to position Dhofar Governorate s ecological assets including frankincense heritage, biodiversity corridors, and sustainable rangelands as investment-grade opportunities under the Bioeconomy and SSEZ pillars</li><li>Direct media relations for the program, including drafting press releases, organizing media briefings, community workshops and preparing talking points for senior GGGI and government officials</li><li>Lead the planning and execution of community awareness campaigns including the BICAB outreach initiative designed public awareness campaigns that Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, International Development, or a related field.</li><li>A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, campaign management or marketing, preferably within international organizations, environmental programs, or government engagement.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in territorial marketing, place branding, or regional economic development communications.</li><li>Proven experience working in rural or community-based development contexts, with the ability to engage effectively with government officials, community leaders, and rural stakeholders.</li><li>Exceptional analytical, writing, and presentation skills are required.</li><li>Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)</li></ul><p>FUNCTIONAL</p><ul><li>Ability to draft high-quality communications strategies, press releases, and technical reports for diverse audiences.</li><li>Strong project management and <p>Education & Experience:Vocational Certification in Mechanical Engineering /Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent with at least 8 years experience on land drilling rigs (preferably AC/VPD/CSCR rigs). International rig experience is highly preferred, demonstrating adaptability to diverse operational environments and standards. Technical Skills: Proficient with CMMS (e.g., myMaintenance), OEM manuals, and technical schematics. Skilled in preventive, corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and equipment startup procedures for engines, pumps, hydraulic units, cranes, and pipe handling equipment -OEM Canrig experience and certification is preferred -Core Competencies:Strong leadership and supervision skills, safety-focused, excellent troubleshooting ability, accurate reporting/documentation, and effective downtime management. -Key Responsibilities:Execute scheduled maintenance, manage equipment faults and downtime, operate and start up rig mechanical systems safely, maintain spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with OEM standards and company policies. -Communication:Fluent English, capable of clear technical reporting.</p>
